The hostal is located in an amazing location so close to la ramblas and there's an underground station right opposite the street. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the room is modern where everything in its right place. The rate was good compared to others around in this touristic area however the value is great with reference to the... More

Beautiful, clean and modern. Centrally located in the middle of the Ramblas. Everything was perfect except for the soundproofing of the rooms. If I return to Barcelona I will again here! When you choose the room be sure to choose a new room ... there is not renovated zone with old rooms.

I stayed here for 3 nights and the room worked perfectly for a home base to explore the city all day and night to go in to sleep and shower! Clean rooms! Wifi worked well in the room! And bathroom was adequate! The only con was they make your bed everyday but they do not change your sheets. Seemed odd.... More

Good location- right next to La Rambla. Really clean, maybe even a bit too clean. Helpful stuff and all the basics in place. Comfortable beds and quiet rooms despite the proximity of main street. Good wifi connection.

We stayed in the newly remodeled room for 4 nights. Room is nicely decorated in contemporary style, clean and sleek. Bedding and pillar are good, towels are on the thin side but ok. The best selling point is the location. It's in the middle of Ramblas, a few steps to metro, a few blocks to Boqueria, which is an action... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
