Had a great 2 nights here. Extremely clean room. Had everything we needed. Staff very friendly. Parralel metro stop is practically outside the hotel. Felt very safe in this area [ 2 guys ] Lots of cafes etc to grab something to eat before walking to la ramblas which is a 5minute walk. Next door you have la turka which...

The hotel is conveniently located immediately in front of Parallel Metro station, which means the entire city is available to you with ease. There were fast food restaurants nearby but no dining which really interested us in the immediate vicinity. We arrived late at night and were very tired so we did take advantage of the chicken joint across the...

Travel once a year to Barcelona on business and have stayed in this hotel year after year. Find it a home from home. Large rooms with large bathrooms, clean, good selection of TV channels, and good free WIFI. A 5 minute walk from the Ramblas. Perhaps breakfast can be slightly better, but still good enough.

We stayed at this hotel before and after a Mediterranean Cruise. The hotel is located downtown near the older section of the city - just a short cab ride from the cruise terminal. Very nice rooms with modern décor. Rooms are nice size and well appointed. Hotel has roof-top deck and small pool and fitness area as well. Great staff...

My wife and I stayed before and after our cruise. Location was very good as La Rambla was a short walking distance away. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous and took the time to give us good suggestions about local nightlife, the hop on / hop off bus system and got us transportation to the cruise ship and...

The remarks made by many others are generally positive with a great location and a easy walk to the main attractions of the city and this I agree with however the only thing that spoilt our 2 night stay was that the street facing rooms are so noisy it is amazing! The Avinguda Para-lel is one of the city centres...

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
