Such a lovely hotel centrally located. Excellent room with amazing view across the city. Lovely rooftop area four lounging in, with a small pool if you fancy a dip. Great breakfast and staff friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay again if returning to Barcelona.
The staff at the hotel is lovely, the reception staff gave us a very detailed itinerary of Barcelona city. The rooms were clean and had timely room service. Really appreciate their efforts to be environmentally sustainable. The restaurant has a beautiful breakfast spread and somw other events hosted there. The hotel is situated very close to the metro station and has some good restaurants in the vicinity
My husband loved staying at this hotel. The location and service from the staff was outstanding! Victor, Andres and Jonathan took care of all our needs and went above and beyond for us! We will return to this hotel on our next trip to Barcelona! Outstanding service from the team of staff.
Husband and I went to Barcelona for a short break just before Spanish lockdown. We arrived on Wednesday afternoon and left Saturday afternoon. We’ll definitely return! The hotel is ideally placed to visit the city. The marina is about 25 minutes walk away. Las Ramblas is a bit further, but that might be because we took a wrong turn first of all. The street the hotel is on has many small supermarkets and many cafés/bars/restaurants. There is a McDonald’s straight across the street. The hotel also offers food in the bar/restaurant on the first floor where you sit for breakfast. The choice for breakfast was more than adequate - hot, rolls, meats, fruit, yogurt..., anything you could want. My only gripe was the quality of the coffee. The machines were Nescafé bean to cup but I think may have used powdered milk. As an aside it was difficult to find good coffee in Barcelona altogether. We attended the free beer tasting and cocktail making lessons which take place every day at 5.30. Bartender Tony gave a fantastic cocktail lesson. He was very knowledgable and entertaining. He’s a great asset to the hotel. The hotel has an unheated rooftop pool which due to logistics we were unable to use. The views from the roof were wonderful. Happy Hour was from 3.30-6pm. You could take your drink to the roof to enjoy. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the door surrounds in the bathroom looked water-blown at the bottom; the bidet was positioned right next to the radiator so was basically unusable, there was no small near mirror in the bathroom, nor was there a mirror around the dresser/desk area. This makes it difficult to apply/remove makeup. The bed was pretty uncomfortable so neither husband nor I had a good night’s sleep. The window in the room was slightly broken so couldn’t be put on tilt. Most of the front desk personnel were very helpful, going above and beyond, but one or two need a little more training. The position of the light in the bathroom and the bed meant that you were blinded to the point of being woken up if your partner used the bathroom in the middle of the night. On the whole we liked the hotel and loved Barcelona. The second photo is from the hotel roof. The other is of the Barcelona marina.…
My self and 2 friends stayed here over the weekend where it was announced that shops and restaurants in spain were to be shut down over the virus. As a result we only stayed 1 night instead of 2 which was very disappointing. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were lovely, the beds very comfortable and the room top pool and seating area overlooking the city was exceptional (we spent 8 hours up there on our second day while we waited for our flight). The hotel very kindly didnt charge for our second night which we are very grateful, especially after paying out a fortunate to get an earlier flight home. I will definitely come back and stay here some time soon!
