Stayed for a 3 night city break. Staff helpful and friendly, safe storage room for leaving luggage for early arrival or late departures. Had a room on the top floor which had a lovely balcony overlooking Las Ramblas - didn't find it noisy at all. Room spacious, comfortable and clean. Not very generous with shampoo, shower get etc, but that...

Hotel is on La Rambla, near the Port. A fantastic location for pottering out in the evening,or the afternoon ,or the morning! 9 floors,2 lifts. Our double room was basic and bright.the bed was comfortable but very hard pillows.Bathroom with bath and shower, plenty of towels. No tea making facilities. We had a big balcony with the view from the back of...

Right in the heart of it all. Clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet. Our room over looked las ramblas and I would say that we really didn't have any issues with noise. there is an excellent flamenco show right next door.

Came for our honeymoon. Mentioned in conversation to the hotel staff who completely ignored our comment. Which is fine of course - I'm judging hotel itself. Breakfast was very "that will do". Most things cold and no flavour. Both husband and I weren't impressed. The noise was absolutely unbearable. Barely slept due to shouting and screaming and yahooing until 7am...

The trade-off for good location (Las Ramblas) is NOISE (noisy streets, drunk guests, noisy hotel). Hotel is in a great spot, with easy access to many of the shops/restaurants of Las Ramblas. Front desk staff were fabulous, multilingual, efficient & helpful. There was a secure storage room for locking up luggage when arriving earlier than check-in. The room was clean,...

Thank you for choosing our hotel. If you need a very silent room we always give our guests the opportunity to ask for one at the back of the hotel. If you prefer different pillows just ask in reception and we can arange softer pillows. we always try to do as much as we can. Kind regards Montse Palacios

My wife and I visited Hotel Ramblas in Barcelona in the week just before Easter. The greatest attraction of the hotel is definitely the location at The Rambla, not far from the harbor. We had a room at the fourth floor at the very far end of the corridor. The first issue, we had, was that our key card didn't...

We had a lovely room on the 5th floor at the front of this beautiful hotel. It was great to look out of the window and see the exciting, vibrant life on La Ramblas below. The men in the Reception were extremely kind and helpful, answering our numerous questions when we stayed there for a week. Breakfast was really good...

Have stayed here 4x in 4 years. Have been in Barcelona every year for annual MWC conference(mobile). While it's an average 3-star hotel, the reason I keep coming back is the location. It's in the Gothic quarter and a block from the Liceu subway station. Being in the Gothic quarter, aside from atmosphere, plenty of great restaurants plus museums, clubs...

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
