Very clean. Staff were very helpful and spoke English. The staff provided some great recommendations for dinner every night. The convenience store across the street was great to buy snacks for the room. The wifi was reliable. Would stay here again. Never had to wait more than a few minutes for a taxi.

Well, where to start? Barcelona, so stupid price for what you are offered. Not that the hotel is to blame, just saying it's expensive to visit, eat, sleep, park anywhere in Barcelona and always reminds me why cities irritate me. Must be getting old... The hotel was fine, nice room in a very well decorated and maintained building with reasonable... More

Pros: Location, location, location! Minutes from Metro, restaurants, shopping. Shower! Water pressure was spot on. After two grueling hours on the Metro from the airport lugging a suitcase weighing over 35 pounds, it was orgasmic! We walked into the room and it was ice cold! It felt so very good. Bed! Extremely comfortable and we each got two pillows! Front... More

I would definetely stay here again. Great location- 3 minute walk from the metro station El Puxet - short ride to plaza catalunya and very easy to get to from the airport. The rooms were ok- the service was awesome- very friendly and hospitable. The bathroom was nice.

Pros: - Very close to a metro stop (El Putxet on the L7 line, which goes to Placa Catalunya), so there's easy access to the city center without being in a touristy area - There are a variety of cafes and restaurants in the area - The room size is quite good for a European hotel - The room and... Had a really nice stay at Silken St. Gervasi. The main reason I chose it is because of it's proximity to the metro line and that worked out so well, no issues getting anywhere around the city. It is tucked back off the main street with plenty of cute little shops and a larger market nearby. That was a nice... More

Stayed here with my friend as part of a trip to see FC Barcelona for his 30th birthday. Hotel looks nice and posh from the outside and the room was a decent size with 2 single beds next to each other. The shower was good and room had everything we needed including free WiFi (which was a bit slow). The... More

Wow what a step up at this hotel. It was such a shock to see such a huge room after spending time in such tiny rooms in Rome and Paris.....although they were nice as well but this was like staying at the Ritz....The shower was marvelous hot hot hot water, the staff was excellent to work with, and the restaurant... We stayed there for 3 nights, those days were horrible. The employees are rude, the room was not clean , the phone did not worked and the internet had to reset every 5 minutes. When we addressed those issues to the staff, they were indifferent abou it. When we asked information about restaurant and tour, they ignored your concerns. Few... More

It is many years since I had stayed at this hotel and if anything it has improved - perhaps due to the inspiration of its sacred name. It is well above-average quality for a 3-star with pleasing bedrooms and bathrooms. Staff are professional, helpful and well trained. WiFi works well. There is a garage, but as the staff warned, access... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Sant Gervasi, is located 5 metro stops away from down town, in the most select part of Barcelona, where Modernist houses and new buildings enjoy a happy coexistence. This neighborhood is one of the safest & quietest in town. Close by to the Hotel, and very well communicated, you have also the following sightseeing’s: Park Güell, the fantastic park designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí and the Tibidabo mountain. The hotel’s size – it has only 63 rooms – is part of its special charm, and its guests will enjoy the warm hospitality only found in such intimate establishments. The Sant Gervasi is also convenient for all transport, the historic city centre and the trade fair site at Montjuïc. ... more   less
