We arrived in Barcelona by air and were going on a Celebrity Cruise back to the USA.We only stayed at this hotel for one night but found the room clean, the staff very helpful, and location walking distance to everything we wanted to see. If we return to Barcelona, we will definitely stay at this hotel.

Stayed in Hotel Regina 3 nights on a business trip. Great location in the city center. If you have some spare time after a long business day, there is plenty of restaurants in the walking distance. Room was big, but furniture was average. Breakfast was also very good.

Nice hotel, very good service. Clean and comfortable rooms but bit dark and small. Nice bed, enough storage and big desk. The location was perfect, 1 min from the Placa de Catalunya, easy access to all means of transport. Taxi rank opposite the hotel.

Arriving in a cab from the train station, reception staff were accommodating and could speak English quite well. The family room was clean and spacious even for us - a family of four. Walking distance to La Rambla, it was located right across Plaza de Catalunya, where there always seemed to be a fiesta at night.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
