We had a lot unpleasent interactions and moments with the two receptionists that were there, they had a very unpolite attitude towards us the whole time, we had 3 main situations with them, they necer tried ti help us in any eay and again their attitude was super unprofessional:
1. The first day we arrived we got to the counter and checked in, we had prepaid the reservation through Booking with a credit card we didn’t had with us at that moment, which they rudly told us that for us to get the room we had to show that specific card (that information was not on the booking reservation, otherwise we would’ve brought that card). Insted of helping us and explaining their policies kindly, they literally treated us as if we were retarted.
2. They cleaned up the room and bathroom half way, we did not get fresh new towels, and the bed was half made. Again we went down to explain what happend, and the receptionist replied in a very rude way, telling us that it was our responsability to let them know that we needed fresh towls by placing the dirty ones on the bathtub,(which again, there wasnt any notes on the bathroom about that information).
3. At the end of our stay, one of us left earlier than the other(the one that paid for the room), and the second one of us kindly asked the receptionist for an invoice in name of the other (wich of course need to be on her name, cuz she paid for it). And unfortunately the receptionist again had a very unhelpful attitute and refused to make the reciept on the other persons name(which we still need, and don’t know how to get because we don’t trust the proffesionality of the hotel and they are not helpful at all).

In conclusion, sadly the Hotel staff show they were very incompetent. We don’t recomend this place at all, it is unfortunate that in such a beautiful city like Barcelona full of nice people, the hotel you paid for doesn’t make up for what they should according to the price.

We still hope we can get some help and know who is the responsible person for this in the hotel to assist us with the invoice, as we still need it changed to the person who made the payment.

We are very sorry that you feel this way about our guest service and procedures. Please, let us inform you that is not at all our intention to underpreciate you. Our aim the things as best as possible. Let us go through the different points as you numbered them: We are really sorry that your check in was delayed by the credit card issue. It is a legal procedure to compare the charge with the plastic credit card present at the moment in order too see who is going to sign for the ticket. It is not our intention to misstreated you in anyway and we apologies if the way to making it clear seemed rude or hard. It was our front desk chief and hotel manager who at the check in and they intended to explain you in a very polite way. Regarding the room cleaningness in not entirely clear what you mean. Only the towels inside the bath are changed, this is a medioambiental matter and in most hotels is the same procedure. Though, we apologies the misunderstanding and we will have it in mind to improve on this subject. Thanks you very much for mentioning it. On the billing situation, we would like to indicate that it was our hotel front desk manager who attended you the departure day. She offered the invoice and was told told that there was no need of it. Later, we were required to invoice in the name of your parents, who did not stayed in the hotel. We indicated that it was not viable as it should be on behalf of the people who are staying. Hours later the hotel was asked to only indicate the company's data on the invoice and we manage it accordingly. We requested their verification and they gave us their agreement. Our computer program allows us to change the guest's data until the moment of the check-out, however if it allows us to modify the billing information as well as the corporate name of the company. Regarding all this, we managed to send you the invonce as you required. We hope all this explains the situation and we hope it was not too much of an inconvenience for you. Never stayed in such UNPROFESSIONAL hotel in my whole life! It all started with the check-in when the lady recepicionist instead of take care of my check in process was chatting with her friend at the front desk! Then... the triple bedroom that was so small that could hardly fit 3 suitcases! On top of that, we found a minibar completely EMPTY!!!Another disappointing thing was the state of the bathroom in which both sinks in a poor condition. Thus, the bathtub had stains all over it and the silicon was so old that was dark and full of mud. The worse of it is not the state of the things but the unfriendly way the staff deal with the host problems. Never take responsability for their problems and very unhelpful! The top of Everything was when we arrived at 2:00 pm at the hotel to put our things in the bedroom and found the hotel front door closed and no one at the front desk to open for us! There was 5 guests standing in front of the hotel and not being able to get in! When the lady recepcionist decide to appear to open the door, instead of apologizing she just gave a verg lousy excuse. Would NEVER recomend this hotel to anyone... maybe for an enemy!
For 3 nights they charge you more than 500 euros... its not worth half of it!!!

We are terribly sorry that you had inconveniences at your arrival. Let me tell you, that at the morning the recepcionist needs to do all the check outs and coordinate the check ins with the staff, is not an excuse but it might be an explanation of what was going on at the moment. As well, we apologies if the room facilities were not of your appreciation. As you notice, the minibar is not a service the hotel provides, though the fridges are still in the rooms for the guests use, we also provide a service to keep food and beverages at the hotel fridge. Thank you very much for mentioning the bath condition, we apologies if you did not like it. We will certainly take mesures. I was informed that you were offered a room change that would suit you best. The hotel manadgment has a renovation plan comming in soon, so if you change your mind about us and decide to return you will see several improvements in this and other aspects. Soory for the inconvenience at your entrance at 14:00. Please, understand that the recepcionist took security messures to lock the door in case nobody can cover her when she was not at the front desk. Finally, if you change your mind and decide to return we will try to compensate you. As well, you will see many improvements on the aspects you mentioned and others. Best regards,

The room was tiny for me and 2 friends looked nothing like the pictures.

Asked for an iron on first night and was told only 3 in hotel and they were already taken ! Which I then asked what could be done as I wanted to iron my clothes for my evening out and they would be creased and the response was nothing could be done and he didn’t really care which I was shocked and disgusted about!! 0 service!!!

And if things couldn’t get any worse they only had 1 pair of scissors in the whole hotel which I ended up buying some
As they could not track them down.

Certain staff were useless and the actual hotel was basic for £800 for a couple of nights.

Will not recommend to anyone and will not return!!!

Very comfortable room, lots of space and very clean. Air con was fantastic when the temperatures hit 40 outside. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Good location to walk to the main tourist areas but close to metro too for trips further afield. Did not eat here.

I would rate the hotel as ok, i will list a few pros and cons:

PRO - the location was excellent, 5 mins walking to the center, gran via, placa catalunya and main places you don’t wanna miss. Also, there were numerous bus stations nearby that allowed you to get anywhere very easy.
- the hotel was clean, the breakfast was good (although the same for 4 days)

CONS - this was literally the smallest room i’ve seen in my life. I know central hotels are expensive but we paid aprox 120 euros per night and we didn’t have room to
Open the luggage in the room we had to do that in the bathroom!!! On the internet(booking.com) there are only pictures with the bigger rooms so you have to be careful with this!!
-there was no fridge in the room so for a hot summer day , we could really use a cold water
- the air conditioner had two options - on and off, you couldn t set the temperature, and when you turned it on you froze in 5 minutes, so you had to choose between being hot or being frozen

All in all, i wouldn t go there again, although the location was great i felt like i was staying in a (not very cheap) cell.

Aerobus from the airport drops you at University, which is about 3 blocks from the hotel.
