Neighborhood
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.

The accomondation is very close to placa Catalunya, las Ramblas and metro station. The breakfast and the bed was good. The night was a little bit noisy because of the street. All the receptionists were very polite and helpful.

Don't expect more, just a 1 star hotel facilities. Nothing to comment about if you pay what you get. But the location is excellent closed to all the tourist spots and convenient as a tourist. Recommended for it location

This hotel is gorgeous I loved everything about it Good views of the city from the roof... The pool is small but you're not in Barcelona for the pool.... The hotel is close to everything... But it's right next to some of the best restaurants...More

Good central location only 5 minute walk to Placa Catalunya. Easy access to Metro - in fact you can feel the trains running under. Tired rooms, dodgy electrics and poor aircon. Noisy if roadside room, and breakfast just ok. Hotel attempted to charge for breakfast...More

Staff pleasant enough. However had to find somewhere else to store money & passports as the room safe had been broken into...unsure why the hotel thought appropriate to leave in the room. Immediately this had us feeling uneasy (& as said, had to source storage...More

Same opinion, one addition. The mentioned IT room can only be reached by passing the reception and main door often stays closed (the receptionist opens from indside), so all in all it's rather secure I think.
