Location! Wow! My room was very nice with nice products. In the 2nd room I moved to the bathroom floor could have been swept a bit better. But this is a quibble really when you consider the lovely front desk, ample breakfast, location to subway and to so much else.

Two nights in Barcelona with family before Christmas. Booked one room with four single beds (2 bunk beds) with en-suite bathroom. (Bed sheets, blankets, pillows and bath towels are provided. Need to buy soap and shampoo from nearby shop.) Room included 4 separate lockable cabins (locks provided by hostel) to store luggage and valuables. (Additional luggage storage available on ground...

+ The hotel has very good location. There are lots of shops and restaurants near by hotel. The rooms on the top floor are not too noisy. Friendly staff, good breakfast, fast wifi. - The (very clean) room and mainly the double bed is a little bit small.

Helpfully located in the middle of the Gothic area. Within easy walking distance of main sights there. Surrounded by good cafes and restaurants. Also easy to walk to the metros. One of the best budget hotels we have stayed in. Clean, comfortable well equipped room. Breakfast basic but welcome particularly given the very modest hotel rates. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

First time in Barcelona. The hostal has a great location, in the midle of Bairro Gótico. Our room was very quite, but the rooms near were all in construction. On monday unfortunetly we woke up with the construction noise. The breakfast is simple., bread , cheese, cereals, milk. Free internet in the room. In general I liked the place. Good...

We stayed in this hotel for a week during our trip to Barcelona, and couldn't have been happier with it. First of all, the location was absolutely excellent! We also got one of the refurbished rooms, which while small, was very comfortable and got everything we needed - including one of the best showers ever. When our flight got cancelled...

Outstanding location at the heart of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. This hostel is more of a motel / B&B as there are many private rooms and an inclusive albeit basic breakfast. Our private room was comfortable and functional with a very large bathroom and good shower. A little on the noisy side but I wouldn't expect anything else given the central...

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
