its an amazing hotel. loved too much very comfy room , amazing view large bathrooms there is car park professional staff amazing food , dining is marvelous I would repeat it of course!! Bec I had such an amazing time even I was in a business trip
This is a very large luxury hotel, with large rooms and bathrooms equipped with both a shower (a bit of a squeeze, however) and bathtub. The rooms are equipped with luxury amenities and a refrigerator. I also found the rooms very quiet, although overheated for sleeping. The staff was generally very competent and efficient, if a tad bit snooty at times. Because this is such a large establishment, there is an overwelming sense of vastness, so if you are looking for a more intimate sense of luxury, this is not the place. However, the hotel is conveniently located close to a metro station, so it's easy to get to central Barcelona, and there are places of interest close by as well. The views are quite nice as well.
We booked a room for two adults and our twins with at the time were one and a half year old. The room was in the higher price range because it should fit our needs with two toddlers. When booking we specifically wrote that we would need two cribs for our twins. This was accepted by the hotel and we didn’t received any other messages from them. Though on arrival the lady in the reception told us that only one crib could be installed in the room due to other furniture taking up space. When asking why we wasn’t notified about this when booking and specifically noting that we would need two cribs she couldn’t give us and answer. Instead she tried selling us a one of the biggest suites in the hotel with an additional cost of 1600€ a night. We ofcourse refused this and then let one of the kids sleep in our bed and the other in the crip. When coming to the room we saw that it was quite spacious and there could easily have been installed a second crip with a minimal of moving a chair. The room was though nice and with a stunning view of the city. The bathroom was another story. The sink was clogged, the ceiling around the showerhead was moldy and the toilet wasn’t attached to the floor which ment that it almost tipped every time you sat down. We notified the staff about this the same afternoon as we arrived and reminded them about it every day through our stay. We were numerous times told that it would be fixed immediately, but it wasn’t done while we were staying there. On the positive side, the room was cleaned perfectly every day. The hotel and the surroundings are fantastic. The pools are great and with eminent service. Actually the best thing this hotel has going is a lot of hard working service people trying to make up for the lack of the hotel and their managers performance.…
We’ve stayed few weeks ago in this woderfull hotel. Clean, friendly staff, well designed. There is a car park in front of the hotel (paid). Walking distance to shopping malls. Quiet location. All in all very good.
I stayed there for a business trip. Hotel rooms were good, food was great, interior design of the hotel was interesting and nice. There is also a big conference center for big meetings. I appreciated the temperature in the meeting rooms, was luckily not freezing which usually happens in the hotels.
Stayed here with my husband for his birthday and can truly say it was one of the best experiences we’ve had. From the minute we walked through the door the service was first class. Receptionist was lovely and welcoming, her manner was lovely and friendly. The room was excellent, the breakfast choice amazing with wonderful attentive staff. I was a little worried about the location but it was not a problem at all in fact nice to return to peace and quiet after the city. I would love to stay here again. Thanks!
On arrival at the hotel the doorman was very helpful helping us out of our taxi. On entering the hotel there was queues at the front desks and not a lot of order. People were just walking to queue at others desk when some staff was telling people there is one queue which was annoying as people pushed in. By the time we got to the front desk the lady was very helpful and fast at checking us in. As our room wasn’t ready because we arrived early we was able to leave our bags with concierge. When we did get into our room it was nice, clean and tidy. It was not a bad size but a bit cold. In all the stay was good. I ordered Room service one day for breakfast which was great. It came hot and I didn’t have to wait long for it to arrive. I stayed at this fairmount hotel for business and usually I use fairmount for family travel but I wouldn’t use this one as I feel it’s not for that type of trip. In all good hotel but could do with improved service on arrival.…
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city then this is a fantastic 5* hotel. The rooms are great, the food is fantastic. The reception area is within a magnificent atrium where you can enjoy coffee or cocktails. Rooms from the rear of the hotel can enjoy views of the city and the adjacent royal polo club. The pool is fantastic and the gardens are beautiful too. All in all this is fantastic place to relax away from the city and just a short walk from the hotel to access the underground network, taxis are also plentiful from the hotel entrance.
Great hotel, great views and a great welcome! As a Platinum member I was allocated a corner suite on the 11th floor overooking the golf course , great location, easy to get to the metros and there was a shopping dirstict nearb and we use dthe trams to get there!
Location not great but hotel is pretty decent even though expensive. Great service overall. Hotel is aging and could do with some updates in caulking of showers and other cosmetic changes. Housekeeping was good
