I know, I should not expect a lot from low price but this place is just dirty. Dirty bathroom, hair in the bed, mess on the floor, terrible smell. Need bottle of wine to close my eyes and go to sleep in this room.
Don't pay attention to the bad reviews. You get what you pay for... A room with a decent bathroom that's clean. Close to everything you need (transportation, tourist attractions etc) and easy to navigate your way around. The room was clean and at the price...More
First of all, the Booking.com website did a great job to promote this place. The place and rooms look great online, it does give you the sense of artistic surrounding, tranquil and comfort you need, but in reality it has none of that. Room is...More
Friendly & helpful staff, 10 mins from Placa de catalunya bus station, great location for food & bars, they allowed us to upgrade our room to include our own bathroom & balcony for a reasonable price. Definitely a place I'd come back to.More

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
