fantastic hotel on the marina with the beach to the other side. the staff are excellent and the rooms are amazing. the enormous bathroom was just luxurious. A bit further out from las ramblas but a taxi rank right outside the hotel and fares are reasonable. there are eating places including a mcdonalds at the marina, accessed by a ramp,...

This is an excellent hotel. Not 5 star in a traditional sense, but the rooms are large, fitted out exceptionally well with modern fittings, and typically (three sides out of four) have great views of the coastline. Most notably, however, the staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful, with a wide range of languages. Strongly recommend

This is my fourth stay at Hotel Arts in the past seven years. And by far the best. I'd reserved two nice rooms for my wife and daughter and I, but was knocked out when the hotel staff upgraded us to a two-bedroom, two-story apartment at the top of the hotel. Besides having a remarkable 2-story view o the beach...

Hotel Arts doesn't disappoint as a Ritz-Carlton property. The pool is beautiful, steps from great clubs, restaurants, and things to do. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Many things to do on-site too - I could just stay here laying by the pool all day. I would highly recommend this hotel in Barcelona!

Location is good if you want to live near the beach but metro station is near and it’s very convenient. Staff is friendly and professional. Breakfast is very good. The amenities in bathroom are modern and convenient. The pool area and garden are nice and cosy. SPA centre is excellent, the masters are super professional. One problem. The windows were...

We had a short stay when we went to BCN for Primavera Sound music festival. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room spacious with a fabulous port view despite the fact that we booked a city view room - the cheapest. Bathroom stunning. Bites restaurant food left to wish for more but the staff were extremely apologetic and did their best...

With my wife we spent two nights during a short visit in Barcelona at the Ritz in May. The hotel lives up to its reputation to be artsy. The rooms are decorated nicely and feature Bang and Olufsen entertainment systems. We stayed in a suite on the 27th floor with a great view. The staff is super nice as one...

This hotel is very nice with excellent facilities. The staff bends over backwards to help you in every way. The rooms are more what you would expect from an American Hotel with large spacious rooms and big bathrooms. The shower and tub were exceptional. The only negative I would mention is the expense of WiFi in the room of 25...

Just returned from a 3 nights stay at the hotel arts Barcelona, the staff & service were exceptional most notably Tanja Rohrl in guest relations who on learning we were celebrating a birthday & hen weekend went out of her way to ensure we had a fantastic last day. The concierge also provided us with excellent recommendations for restaurants, bars &...

The hotel is fantastic. The staff was very helpful and always attentive to the smallest detail. The breakfast was amazing. Rooms were very nice and the beds were the best. My only complaint is that the prices inside the hotel are ridiculous. Just because someone is paying a lot for a room does that mean that they also must drop...

Staying in Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica

Neighborhood Profile
Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica
The sounds of Marina Olympica's rocking boats and clicking mastheads swaying to and fro set an impressive backdrop for Ciutadella and Villa Olimpica. Follow the aromas of garlic, wine, and fresh local fish to the various restaurants running along the marina. A grand bronze fish statue soaring high above serves as a beacon to those searching for the renowned Casino Barcelona or the extremely popular nightclubs which practically lie on the beach itself.
