AVOID! I could write here the exact complaint I wrote to Booking.com who I booked this horrific experience through. To give you an idea of my dissatisfaction, I turned up and left within 30 minutes of being shown all three of the DIRTY, MOULDY, AIRLESS and peeling wallpaper, filthy blacked showered, rooms. First impressions were not great, lugging a huge... More

In the bustling metropolis of Barcelona, almost hidden from view, is this quaint and cozy gem. Old school from start to finish. The elevator is a caged affair and only 2 people or 1 with a suitcase! The service is great, the rooms small but nicely done up and the bathroom adequate, If a little cramped. The breakfast was rudimentary... More

We stayed in Barcelona, family of four, for three days. Home to Home was located in a quaint neighbourhood minutes from some spectacular sites including the Magic Fountain, Olympic Park, Arenas Shopping Centre, Hop on Hop off Bus that tours the entire city, Barcelona Transit System, AeroBus (airport shuttle), markets, restaurants, supermarket etc etc. Needless to say it was a... My wife and I travel constantly and every once in a while you come across a great find. We just fell in love with Boutique Barcelona. The hotel is very quaint and the hospitality fabulous. Your host, Laritza, is just wonderful and could not be more helpful tending to your every request. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast is... More

Slightly tricky to find, as there are no flashing signs - indeed there are no signs apart from a labelled bell push! About seven rooms, I believe. Bathroom very adequate and bedroom not large but comfortable, ours with a small seating area. Breakfast, too, adequate but not fancy - mainly cold meats, cheese, fruits, yoghurts, boiled eggs, delicious juice from... More

I should start with the good things. The staff is amazing, the girl at the reception that is from Guatemala (I believe) is amazing as well as the other girl who checked us in; excellent service and good tips. We stayed here for 3 nights; We arrived on my birthday and even though they don't do anything special, the girl... More

It is not a big B&B but everything seems like a hotel. Staff are friendly and facilities such as lighting, TV and toiletries are well-equipped/prepared. The room is cosy but a bit stuffy (we traveled in winter). Breakfast is simple but good. The worst thing is the WiFi because of the poor signal. Generally, location is fine, price is okay,... More

Great value for money, friendly and very welcoming team. The location is amazing and the rooms are dark and quiet.. The shower is nice and hot and the facilities in the room great for a weekend away. The breakfast is served from 8.30am until 11am, great continental choice. We will be back for sure. Thank you.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
