Traveling with my wife and 3 year old daughter. One of my best hostel experiences in Europe! Stayed here for 5 nights. 3 Nights in a 3 bed dorm with shared bathroom and 2 nights in a double ensuite with private bathroom...The shared bathroom was just next to my room so felt like a private bathroom itself.. The shared bathrooms...

On its face this hostel is decent. It is clean and the rooms have a fair bit of space. The bathrooms are good but small. The beds are average. There is a nice communal area and terrace. But what really made this place was the staff. They were nice, warm, welcoming and helpful. For example when I arrived I was...

Great staff! I cannot recommend this hostel enough. If you are going to Barcelona, stay here. I have stayed in so many hostels, and this was the best check in I have ever had. The receptionist offered me tea, coffee or water and then went on to go over a map with me for about 20 minutes. Great place!! Stay...

My husband and I, both retired, spent three nights at this very clean and well-located hostel recently, and we were very pleased with our decision. Everyone - owners, employees, and other guests - was polite and friendly. The place was immaculately clean; the kitchens on both floors were tidied up nicely by the guests after use, and were well-equipped, so...

Excellent place. Fantastic little gem. Very modern, clean and tidy and everything you could ask for. Excellent customer service. Lovely terrace for a drink at night and opportunity to meet other travellers. Kitchen facilities great. Staff friendly and happy to share info and advise. Amazing hostel and would return in a heart beat.

Excellent location - only a 10-minute walk from Plaza Catalunya. They welcome you as a family member, they give you their own map of Barcelona with attractions, interesting places, hints where to eat well (and cheap). Our room was large, bright, with a comfortable bed and a balcony (yes!). The spacious bathroom (with a window), but there is no hair...

Last month I traveled to Barcelona with my 86 years old mother and my two older sisters, and since I am used to regular hotels I was a little nervous about staying in a hostel. I must say that staying in The Barcelona Central Garden was a wonderful experience. It is located in a very nice area and the facility...

Truly enjoyed the 4 nights i spent in the hostel. The staff are really amazing and are more than willing to help you with anything you may need. This is a great place to stay especially for a solo traveller. Easy to meet people because people tend to cook in the hostel quite a but. The bed was a tiny...

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
