This place is perfect for a hostel, had bad experience with misunderstanding at beginning. However, they upgraded us and were understanding and helpful. It's very clean, well kept and is in an incredible location. Worth the price for this hostel. Enjoyed our visit and recommended this place. Bit noisy outside throughout the whole night so close your window.

Two out of five for the excellent location mentioned in all reviews. The staff were the rudest I have ever encountered in a hotel. The bedroom was small and lacked adequate bedding. There must have been some problem with the drains as there was a bubbling noise that was coming through the sink in the room and affected sleep. The...

Very clean hotel, right in the center of Las Ramplas and the liceu metro station so you don't have to worry about transportation. Very convenient especially during the summer months for a quick pit stop.

Location is great, surrounded by lots of restaurants. Liceu metro station is just outside. Can get to casa battlo or Park guell on the same line from there. Gothic quarter is also close, just walk for 10 mins. Las lambras 5 mins walk. Mercado de la boqueria (market) is like 30 m away. Seriously this location is awesome. 5 euros...

Okay, so the only negative comment is staff not very friendly - but then again, neither were they unfriendly. I think the best way to describe them would be lifeless. Other than that, everything was great. Location 10/10, cleanliness 10/10, vfm 10/10..Its a hostal but to be honest if they called themselves a hotel I don't think you'd be complaining....

    Staying in La Rambla

    Neighborhood Profile
    La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
