Stayed in the hotel for 4 night, it was a lovely hotel but nothing special. Situated just a few blocks away from the Llacuna metro station and only a few minutes walk to the beach. The hotel was clean and had a basic gym with a sauna and hot tub however you have to pay £5 extra a night i...

The hotel is located close to a metro station and very close to the beach. However, there aren't many restaurants or cafes in the area. Only one English channel was available despite of several being advertised. Very basic gym. On arrival, we found that our booking was not in the system and we waited a good quarter of an hour...

Nice Hotel but no air conditioning until late April. Asked to see a manager but he only apparently works week days. It was 22 degrees in our room and quite stuffy so would have been good to have the advertised AC. Wouldn't go back to this hotel but still love the city.

Hotel 4 was a wonderful hotel very close to the beach and double decker bus stop. I will stay here again. It was my first trip to Europe so i didn't know how the electric worked for the room....ask for a second key so you can leave the air running while away otherwise expect very hot rooms.

Just returned from this hotel, it can be assessed as good value for money. Within walking distance from the Port Olympic and close to a metro stop Llacuna. The room is very clean, good breakfast. On the coast there are a couple of good restaurants and clubs. Also on the way Metro has a wonderful restaurant Raco de la Vila.

Nice hotel with good service, price wise acceptable for a business trip and well situated near the beach area in Barcelona. Friendly personell, especially the reception. The breakfast could have been better. Too crowdy and a lot of tourists coming to this hotel. General impression = worth visiting when you come to Barcelona.

As previous reviews suggest, this hotel does not have amenities to be called /qualified for a 4 star hotel. PROs: good food, friendly staff, clean room, quiet area. CONs: Lack of facilities in room, (Mini bar, kettle etc ) Very isolated location, almost no restaurants within 10 min walking distance. Overall satisfyingly good. City centre is few stops away by metro...

I recently had the pleasure of a 3 day stay here prior to a 10 western med cruise, it was just perfect for my needs and would have no hesitation staying again for longer periods. Not sure exactly when it was built but its modern architecture stands out from it's old surrounding buildings. Good food, friendly staff, clean rooms. For...

This hotel at best is 2 star, rooms have no amenities, (sleepers, coffee or tea facilities, mini bar not available for the basic rate). Stayed 3 awful nights (5th to 9th March), weather was excellent, around 25C, the problem was, hotel have a cheap central air conditioner, that not allow cold or hot at the same time, and because those...

Very nicely styled hotel, very cosy and contemporary. Decent sized room and bathroom. Close to the beach for a morning run or an evening stroll along the shore. Ok breakfast - could be better. Located in an ordinary residential district so quiet but not too many places to eat nearby. Metro and buses nearby. A good choice if you want...

Staying in Poblenou

Neighborhood Profile
Poblenou
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centers catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
