Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

Excellent stay. We were greeted by Emilio who was wonderful and very helpful. Our room was 703 it was a nice size room. It has a small balcony and you could see a little bit of la Pedrera and also a tiny view of La Sagrada familia. The metro station is very close and the stop is

Pros: The location was great!!! The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to get an early check-in, which we appreciated. There’s a safe in the room. Cons: Our AC was controlled from somewhere else, so we had to call the front desk guy to turn it on. We werent even sure

We stayed at Hotel Paseo De Gracia for 4 nights at the end of May and could not fault a single requirement. This certainly didn’t appear as a 2* Hotel, really clean and recently renovated room with a balcony, alongside great reception staff. Additionally our flight got moved,

Hotel Paseo De Gracia is a one star hotel in a five star location. Stayed in room 702 (triple standard). The room had a terrible stench coming from the bathroom. We alerted the front desk and they sent a maintenance person - who was nice - but basically plugged the bidee with

Good location. The hotel has 1 star, so don't expect too much. The room was OK. The bathroom needs some reconstruction or at least much better cleaning. The toilet very unusual for the European standards. Nice and kind service. Would say that the price is high for the offered.

Hello Diane, The hotel is in the city center, and from there it will take about 10-15 minutes by car to get to the cruise terminal, depending in traffic. The are around the terminal can get quite busy on cruise departure dates. Public transportation to the cruise terminal is not very good, so we recommend that you take a taxi. We hope this information is helpful but let us know if you need anything else! Best regards,

Hello! First of all, thank you for having booked at our hotel! If you are arriving from Madrid I asume that you will be arriving at Barcelona Sants. From there all you have to do is take the metro, L3 (Green line) and get off in Diagonal. It’s the same line, so you don’t even have to switch lines. The hotel is just in front of the metro exit (corner of Passeig de Gràcia with Rosselló) See you soon!

Our room was new anyway. I don't know if all have been renovated, I just know ours was nice and clean with a balcony.
