The hotel is reasonably well positioned, close to the cruise terminal and La Rambla. It has the basic necessities but nothing special. The soap provided is the smallest bar of soap I have ever seen outside of a hostel. The adjoining road is busy with...More
The Hotel Colonial Barcelona was centrally located. The service was adequate but the room and much of the hotel was a little tired. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, the sheets, bed spread, and most importantly, the pillows seemed to be old. In general, the...More
Hi, we’ve been here for five days and really enjoyed from everything. The location is great, the hospitality is superb (especially of Jose and Felipe), the cleaning is good and the price is comfortable.
I would use it again in my next visit.
Once again we booked this sight unseen and we scored a beauty. Perfectly placed to get to the Harbour or the main attractions in Barcelona. The Hop on Hop off Bus stops across the road and everything is within an easy walk to local restaurants,...More
Our room was very clean, we received a fruit basket on the day we arrived. Nice, big windows. Nice bathroom. Air conditioning (was definitely necessary). Walking distance from the center and the beach. Hotel located in a busy street, but we did not have too...More
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local
musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
Aerobus is cheap and best way to get you to center in Barcelona! last station is on Plaza Catalunya and from there you can either walk to hotel ( takes some 20minutes) or take taxi from there instead from aeroport!
