El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel just at the entrance to the old city. Charming and helpful staff, very comfortable rooms, great amenities (they even give you a mobile modem to use while walking the streets of Barcelona), a great restaurant and bar and a whimsical attitude that lightens your day. Will return whenever in Barcelona. Wish they had other locations in Spain!

We had amazing time in Yurbban Passage hotel - staff is incredibly friendly and polite. While you checking in you are offered a glass of cava. Because our room wasn’t ready when we arrived we wen for a lunch . Most of the Barcelona landmarks are close by to the hotel. We walked to Zoo, Sagrada Familia, the beach and few others. Perfect spot for a lunch ( Honest greens - amazing coffee , great food and it is very affordable) Every evening hotel has its wine tasting hour (18:30-19:30) where you can enjoy wine free of charge:) little touches but really the make a difference. We will be coming back for sure!!!!

The hotel is perfect located, the breakfast is so good and the rooms are nice and clean. The staff is also warm and friendly. Perfect for a romantic weekend. But there’s one thing which destroys the experiance. If you want to sleep longer than to 8.00 AM, it’s almost impossible. The doors slam from other rooms continuous. The noice is so loud. And it’s mainly made by the housekeepers. It made booth me and my girlfriend crazy. I hope the hotel will do something about it. And I’m sure I will give the hotel score 5 next time.

This has to be the best city centre hotel I have ever stayed in! It was booked as a surprise for me for my hen do and was absolutely perfect. There are so many lovely extras including the spa, the photo booth, free cheese and wine and the roof top terrace. The food in the restaurant was lovely (we had both lunch on a set price menu and breakfast which was a great selection). The staff made the hotel and were so lovely to us through out our stay, looking up restaurants and helping us with taxis etc but were even more amazing when our flights home were cancelled and they helped get everything organised for us. Thank you very much Yurbban Hotel for a fantastic stay - we will definitely be back!
