Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

900 EUR for 4nights for a room without bathroom. Guys you have to be kidding me:) Although the personnel is friendly, it's not the value for the money for sure. I could never imagine that I would have a shared bathroom and off course this is NOT clear, the description on booking says nothing about it.

At first we were a little afraid the room wasn't what we expected. Some of the reviews were quite great and others far below. The direct website has it all: the information, nice pictures and it we thought: let's take the "risk". We booked the better room with two separate beds. We walked through the streets and couldn't find it. But than, just on the corner there's the location. 10 minutes walking distance of Gracia and 15 minutes walking distance of Playa Catalunya and the Ramblas. You will stay in the complex between the locals. The room was nice, beautiful decoration, airco, sidetable with chairs, two balcony's (just to stand, no place for chairs) and an own bathroom (including soap and shampoo/douche gel) with every day clean towels. Also the beds are made every single day. The air freshener welcomes you "home" after a day of sightseeing. At the hallway you can put you drinks and snacks in a shared fridge. Breakfast is between 8.30 and 10.30 and is fully equipped. It's also possible to eat breakfast on the shared balcony/terrace. We had a really great stay over here! We stayed 6 nights en 7 days. The location is great. Just remember you are in the middle of the city, so you will hear everything. Cars, scooters, bikes etc. will drive through the streets so it will never be a 100% soundproof place. And that makes it special. You know you are one of the locals during your citybreak at Barcelona. Would definitely come back and recommend this place! (will choose the "better room" with own bathroom again).

This is a very small ho/s/tel, the room was a bit smaller than we expected. Very good location, /near Passeig de Gracia/ friendly stuff, a bit noisy, but we would stay again and recommend it. Cosy terrace, we loved it for breakfast. :)

My boyfriend and I have been hosted in Jardinets Guest House from 8th till 10th of August. We were in a pretty little room very clean and comfortable, with all the necessary and more! The breakfast also was super: two types of bread, jam, yogurt, milk, water, fresh orange juice, pain au chocolat, cake and also salty food like bacon, cheese and eggs. In Jardinets you can also find a terrace where you can relax, drink something and all!

Our stay in Jardinets Guest House was nice. Nice people, we had a budget-room which was quite well, accept we had booked a room with seperate beds, but that room was alreay occupied. We had a private bathroom, which was very nice. The room was cleaned every day. We have enjoyed our stay!
