This place was really nice, the location wasn't bad, the staff are nice and helpful and the rooms are clean. You should definitely stay here if you want a social hostel not far from La Rambla and a short walk to the beach.

I stayed at Pars Teatro back in March with two friends while we were on a 30 day Euro trip. We took an overnight bus to Barcelona, so we arrived in the city around 6:30 am. We got to at the hostel WAY before our check in time (i.e. 6 hours), with the hopes of putting our backpacks somewhere, and... More

5/5 is still too low of a rating for this amazing hostel and their even more amazing workers named Amanda, Darwin and Mike. It brings everything you ever wanted from a hostel straight to the table: - Clean rooms and bathrooms. - Cozy and comfortable lounge. - Very friendly and caring staff that is around 24/7 - Has a great... Great hostel in excellent location. The staff here are very helpful and always had recommendations for what to go see! There is an event every night at the hostel if you want to have some drinks as well. Its Not really a place to go if you dont want noise though. I had an excellent time and enjoyed My stay.... More

Teatro is one of my absolute favourite hostels I have been to around Europe! There is such a homely feel throughout the hostel and the staff are absolutely amazing! Amanda, Mike, Simon, Lucas & Darwin really went out of their way to make me feel like part of the Teatro family. When I come back to Barcalona for the wedding... More

We were a group of 4 and were able to sleep all together in a mixed bedroom. The hostel is very clean, the reception is open 24/7 and managed by super nice youg people who always try to make you feel at home. The organized sangria evenings or different predrinks before going out with you. It's the best place to... More

I absolutely loved my stay here. I was only here for 3 nights and I wish it was longer. It was my first solo trip which I booked last minute, and I am so happy I chose to stay here. Everyone was so welcoming, both staff and other travellers which was nice to come in to. It is close to... More

No better place to stay or people to meet in Barcelona. The staff was unreal, very clean, close to Las Ramblas and Blai (tapas street), yummy cocktails every night, fun activities always planned, euro beers in vending machine.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
