Second time staying here and it's just fantastic! There actually aren't many nice roof terraces to eat and drink on in Barcelona, so it's worth staying here, just for that. Love the location in the gorgeous Gothic area of Barcelona with some great restaurants and walks nearby. Always happy with the tasetfully decorated rooms and generous supply of luxury skincare products, the fresh cookies on arrival are a nice touch, and I love that between 7-8pm a barman knocks on the door and offers "getting ready for dinner cocktails" - Soho House really do think of everything! The Club restaurant and bar on the 5th floor are nice, and while it's not michelin starred quality, the food is very reasonably priced, but I prefer the roof terrace and pool area! Make sure you get up early if it's sunny and you want a cabana by the pool (I just wish they would allow patrons to use laptops there)! The gym is gorgeous, bright and airy, but does get VERY busy, as it's not just for hotel guests, but also Soho House members. Best to go super early in the morning if you want to use any specific eqipment or need any space. Overall another great stay, will book again.

We were at Barcelona and wanted to change hotel and stay at Soho house. It was 14 of May, around 21:00 we came to the hotel. The guy at the reception was asking questions in a very rude manner straight away, no smile, nothing. We tried to ignore his manners, but when he secondly asked judgmental about our membership and was not helping us to make a reservation, we asked him to be more welcoming. After that we got a long educational speech from him about that we cannot judge him because we don’t know him (what?!) We are not his friends, we do not wat to know him, we are guests expecting a good service and positive attitude, because it is his work and he was doing it VERY BAD!!! It was an extraordinary loutish behaviour and negative experience we ever had at a five star hotel. If there is an audio recording, we recommend the top management of the hotel to listen to it! I used to love this chain, but now i am not coming back!

We ate in the club house on our first night in Barcelona. It was, as all soho houses are very good but not exceptional. I love the ambiance of all soho restaurants. Steak very nice. Service excellent. Starter calamari the best we’ve had. Very fresh. Also ate in Cecconi. Was good but again not great. We had lunch on the terrace and because Calamari were so good the previous night ordered again. Unfortunately they weren’t good. We didn’t eat them. They took them off the bill. It’s more of a cool meeting place than a restaurant. Didn’t stay in hotel. Rooms look very small. Stayed at Hotel Miramar and it was about 25 minute walk to soho house.

We stayed here for the Barcelona marathon (which my brother was running, not myself!) and it was a stay worth remembering. As with any house, the rooms are brilliant, if you've stayed in one before, you'll know that nothing has been forgotten. The bed was so comfortable we could have stayed lounging around in it all day! The roof top is a perfect space for a sunny day. We were so lucky with the weather (not so much for the runners I guess!) and the lovely waiter reserved us a long table for late lunch post marathon. The food was great and the service was better than expected (we've all seen the memes....!) Thanks so much for such a wonderful weekend.

Great location in a beautiful building and even by high Soho House International standards one of the best restaurants in the chain. Service was also fast and excellent. Our brunch was great. Highly recommended

Incredible rooms, the hotel is beautiful and all class. Our room was beautiful with a lovely small balcony. Lovely size bed and lots of pillows make it very comfortable. Tonnes of toiletries and amenities. The “to your front door” cocktail service is fantastic. The bar and rooftop bar is great, and service is pure quality. Restaurant lovely, waitress was great and food was stunning.

Over all the hotel is very good. We stayed for four nights in early March and was blessed enough to have has some lovely weather. I booked a small room overlooking the courtyard but was upgraded to a medium room overlooking the marina. I thought that this was great, until at night and the noisy road which travels in parallel to the hotel and marina - its very loud! They have great windows and black out curtains but still. We experienced the rooftop bar cum restaurant, the min bar/resturant and also Cecconi's. The food choice is varied and delicious. We really enjoyed pizza in Cecconi's and the the cocktails too were delicious! My only gripe being the water offered is €5 a bottle - when the water in the foyer/spa is free. The loungers on the roof are very rarely free - people tend to arrive early and stay all day, which I would not consider to be fair for all. The staff are generally very welcoming and warm. I had exception to the door staff who are employed to open the door, greet you, and sort you a taxi (as in any four/five star hotel). I would expect there to be films on in the cinema daily also. On one day there was nothing showing - not the case in Soho Farmhouse I believe. We tried the pool but not the treatments. The pool is very clean and well managed with good service. Overall I have to say that we enjoyed our stay (my first in BCN). The food, location and overall staff are all excellent.
