The apartments are clean and tidy. The staff tell you everything you need to know about the accommodation as soon as you get there. The city is great and the apartments are placed right next to one of the great churches. Overall, if you are booking Barcelona, the bcngotic is a serious contender!

We had the pleasure to stay at BCN Gothic two times during our trip to Barcelona and Valencia. My wife and I were extremely pleased with everything about the apartment and the Host Mar Font. The apartments were spacious, extremely clean and centrally located to the Old Town. I would Highly recommend this place to all. Believe me we are... More

I feel that we really lucked out with this (you can never really tell from the web, or from reviews). Really nice apartment in El Born a few steps from Santa Maria del Mar, with view of spires from window. Area is VERY nice - mixture of small artists/craft workshops, expensive shops, cheap shops, expensive bars, cheap bars, churches, museums... More

Stayed in the rooftop terrace apartment. Very clean and spacious. The air conditioning was very much appreciated. We had breakfast and a late night drink on the lovely terrace. Although the apartment was located on a lovely bustling street with bars and restaurants it was extremely quiet at all times. The wifi was free and excellent. We have stayed in... More

Close to cafes, restaurants, shops, the beach, La Ramblas, etc. Owner very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't fault it. Highly recommend. For information, we were 2 adults and 2 children (17 & 15) from the UK, it was our first time in Barcelona, we really enjoyed our week. Beautiful city with lots to do and see.

This is our third season at BCN gotic. We had a fantastic time. The customer service is outstanding. The flat was spotless. We are already planning to return next summer, possibly christmas. I would recommend BCN gotic for all age groups.

I stayed with 2 girlfriends in the Gotic 3 which had 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. The apartment was fantastic in the El Born area, was well equipped, very clean. Even though it's on a busy street once you closed he windows it was very quiet yet in your doorstep were a great array of restaurants and shops. Mar on reception... More

A very clean property. However, there seemed to be an odor of old cigarette smoke. The beds were comfortable and there were nice sheets. The management was very responsive to requests especially when I reserved in the wrong building and wrong area. They were happy to modify my reservation.

This is a very pleasant apartment in a lovely part of Barcelona. The rooms are of reasonable size with good facilities, e.g. air conditioning, dining table and chairs in open lounge/kitchen, wardrobes in each bedroom (safe in one), iron and ironing board, outside drying area, good kitchen facilities with dishwasher. Beds are a little hard but this is fairly standard.... More

Our apartment was in the El Born district, with the Gothic quarter across the street and within walking distance of Las Ramblas and the harbour. The apartment was well equipped, with everything you could want to self cater. It was on a street with bars and restaurants and importantly, two minutes from the metro (L4) that takes you to the... Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
