Barrio Gòtico (Barri Gòtic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.

Is a good hostal, the price is good and the location is very good because is in the Rambla. Inside the hostal is normal, the problem is that the rooms are very noise and the house keeping is a little rude.

Our Room
I stayed at a room without bathroom and there was no hair dryer in the room. The hotel is far from luxurious, cozy and well-serviced. Front desk receptionists were all male and they were not affable. But they were practical and friendly when you ask something.

There was one on my floor. I did not encounter anyone there. I think it depends on the season and on people who are staying. The hostel was not crowded when I stayed ther in May.
