We found the Holiday Inn Express to be very well-run. Staff at Reception were accommodating and professional. The breakfast was very good and well managed, even when quite busy. The room was clean as could be and comfortable with everything that we needed. And the...More
Stayed here with our 2 children for 4 nights. Lots of families here. We booked with reward points but imagine it is probably a good price compared to some of the pricey hotels in the centre. Hotel is basic but clean and staff very welcoming...More
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. This is a good hotel for a short stay as it is some distance from the excitement of Barcelona. Also, the food was nothing special and the breakfast area was quite crowded. Overall it was an...More
Take a full copy of all paperwork of your reservation with you! Upon check-out, the lady attempted to collect over $100 more from us. Good thing we had our paperwork with us as we had paid in full three months prior to our stay. When...More
Professional and friendly staff, clean rooms and enjoyable breakfast. Room was a bit warm as hotel had not yet converted to A/C. We walked with great directions from the staff all the way to Sagrada Familia. One disappointment was that when we asked the staff...More
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of
activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centers catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.

I can’t remember exactly how far the nou camp is from hotel, maybe a 20 minute taxi ride but it is definitely not walking distance. We did the open top bus tour and went all around the city centre on the bus and got off at the aquarium and at the nou camp all on the same day if that is any help!
