We are a family-run business and offer you modern, fully equipped apartments in an authentic, historical setting. We are located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Barcelona - La Barceloneta. The old fisherman's quarter is framed by a beautiful beach and a picturesque harbor and is in walking distance to "Las Ramblas" and other city attractions. Our individually designed apartments feature portable A/C and free wireless internet access. The apartments comply with the regulations of the Barcelona Ajuntament and Government and have all the licenses required by law (HUTB002230-68;HUTB002231-71; HUTB002232-70;HUTB002233-77; HUTB013136-07; HUTB002234-72;HUTB002235-16).
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.

This was my second time in Banys Mar Apartamentos Barceloneta and once again I've enjoyed it a lot. Apartment (I 've stayed in Dario-1, third floor) has everything you need for the comfortable staying and even remote work (Wi-Fi is fast and stable) and location is simply excellent for the sea (1 min walk) and for the main places of interest (walking distances to La Rambla, Gothic Quarter, Pl Catalunya, etc.) Personally I like living as a local, not a tourist, just for a while, to feel it from the inside, and Barceloneta is the best place for it. Merce (the host) is very helpful and responsive and stays in touch to quickly resolve any minor issue. Thank you, Merce and Banys Mar Apartamentos Barceloneta team!

close to the beach and all services (metro, bus...). All best resturants and pubs are in the vicinity of the apartment.

We would recommend Banys de Mar to all visiting Barcelona. Barceloneta is the place to stay when in Barcelona. We have been staying at Banys for several times and the service is always the best. I stayed in one of their studio apartment on the first floor. It is a clean and cozy unit that has a well equipped kitchenette, washing machine, electric kettle. Great place to be for a few days or an extended period. Highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a great time!

After days of heavy sightseeing it was a blessing to arrive at the apartment, change into our swim wear and hit the beach. And Barceloneta is within walking distance of all the major attractions in Barcelona. Plus the apartment is located in a side street, allowing for a noise-free sleep every night.

Do not waste your time further and book an apartment in Banys de Mar. The reason are multiple: they are friendly and care about their clients, I even had the feeling that many tenants I briefly encountered have come to this place many times and this is a really good sign; their units are very clean and nicely decorated, containing everything you will need for a great stay. Their location is supreme, the beach is located within few seconds walk and they are surrounded by many fancy as well as good and affordable local restaurants. They are children-friendly and gay-friendly, both qualities that are not so common to find. No other companies can beat their charm because one can feel that this is a family-run business and trustworthy, which can be hard to find in other places.

I came to Barcelona for a month and stayed in one of the apartments. Really good price compared to others i looked at. Apartment was nice, well furnished and had everything i needed. 2 minute walk from the beach which was perfect as i came to Barcelona to relax. If i came to Barcelona again i would definitely stay here. It is only a 20-25 minute walk from the bottom of Las Ramblas, 2 mins from the beach, and 10 mins from the nearest metro. Merce the manager was so helpful, before and during my trip, so i would like to thank her! Overall....Brilliant stay:-)

Banys de Mar offers a combination of location, comfort and friendly service that we've found hard to beat. We visit Barcelona frequently and have stayed at many other aparments but we keep coming back here. With the office in the building, checking in and out is as easy as a hotel - that's is a big plus when you're tired from a long journey and don't want to wait on the street for someone from the rental agency to check you in (which is the case with many other apartments). And Merce and the other staff could not be more friendly or helpful - they are wonderful people. The location in Barceloneta means you are a 2 minutes walk from the beach and a 10-15 minute walk to the shops, sights and restaurants of El Born and Barri Gotic. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants in Barceloneta, plus a great bakery and nice public market. The apartments themselves are simple but comfortable, well-maintained and very clean (and the bathrooms are quite nice actually). They offer everything you need, including internet, laudry, cooking/dining utensils.

I highly recommend Banys de Mar. Very friendly staff. Nothing is a problem. They always do their best to make your stay enjoyable and pleasant. Very practical and tasteful apartments. It only takes one minute to get to the beach. Area full of good restaurants, and take out options. Outstanding bakery not far.
