We arrived at the hotel late(before midnight). We had some issues with paying, because card machine did not work properly. Hotel staff didn't really speak a lot of English but all of them were very nice and polite. Our room was small but very cosy. We felt comfortable there. Breakfast was a continental one, toasts, cheese, ham few jams and... More

Booked via Wowcher, its a cheap hotel but no frills. Room basic, fairly clean but noisy thin walls. Its on a great road and about 20 mins from Las Rambla. Lots of nice place to eat close by and Gran de Garcia has all the expensive shops, Armani, D & G, etc. We were on the 4th floor. Its a... More

Stayed at the hotel for 9 days, August 15' as a couple. Room was rather small and looked into the back of the hotel. As previously advised, the walls are paper thin. Seems like everyone at night was having a good time! Location is not bad, next to the Diagonal station which can connect to different lines. Maid never done... More

Recently stayed at the H Cristina whilst visiting Barcelona. Found the hotel in a very nice area, surrounded with designer shops, within walking distance to train / metro station, lots of nice bars, cafes, restaurants and within walking distance (15min) to La Rambla. Hotel is basic but clean and tidy. As other reviewers have mentioned you can hear everything in... More

Fantastic basic hotel. We were two couples having a city break didn't fancy a hostel and having a short break on a budget this was the perfect hotel for us. Room was good and clean and even better had it's own bathroom. Coffee always available downstairs served by the friendly and helpful receptionists. Everything was close by either by walking... More

Stayed here 3 nights in August. Had room facing courtyard. Room was clean and modern. The location is excellent. Short walk to plaza catalunya. Its at the top of passeig de gracia a beautiful street. The walls are paper thin. You hear everything. But that didn't stop me sleeping as we arrived back late and tired each night. The price... More

Loved the hotel, location is amazing, cosy and clean rooms, nice staff. The only minus was, that you can hear your neighbours so well, you could believe they are actually in your room. Anyway we were so tired from touring, we were sleeping like "dead". All in all, i would definitely come back to this hotel. Advice when you are... More

We stayed here in September on a 5 day city break and weren't disappointed. A few steps away from Gaudi's La Pedrera Casa Mila on Passeig De Gracia. The room was at the front of the hotel and featured a small balcony, shower room and double bed. Neat and smart unlike some of the less tasteful 'busy' decor & furnishings... More

We recently stayed at the Hotel Cristina for a few days in Barcelona. The hotel was in a very nice part of the city, a short walk from the main tourist routes. Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
