Very nice reception when we checked in and knowledgable. Info about the area was provided. Our family was really pleased with the service and the food. We would recommend this location is it close to the shopping area of Barcelona not far from the stadium where we watched a football game would return in the future.

Hotel's Favorite
We’ve just arrived back from this hotel and major holiday blues now! Fantastic hotel, spotlessly clean, modern and sophisticated. The staff couldn’t do enough for you they were amazing. We arrived early due to an early flight, although there wasn’t a room ready as check in not until 3pm, they took our bags which allowed us to head out and explore while we waited. They provided us with restaurant recommendations while we waited (which we booked the Italian over the road on their recommendation which was lovely!) and they even upgraded our room and gave us 2 free drinks at the bar. Breakfast was great, small but high quality selection, loads of fresh juices, pastries and a small hot selection. The star of breakfast for me was the high quality coffee, the choice of nespresso or coffee machine (I opted for nespresso each time) and as a bit of a coffee snob, loved every one! There are even takeaway cups if you want to take one away with you. Rooms were cleaned daily, fresh sheets, towels etc. I was a little chilly on the first night due to us accidentally leaving the air con on when we went out, we called reception for a blanket and it was there within seconds. Location was perfect for us, away from the busy centre but within walking distance. Loads of great restaurants, bars, shops nearby. We got the airport bus on the way to the hotel which stops a 10minute walk from the hotel (6euro each). We got a taxi on the way back which cost 28euros. A big thank you to all of the staff for being so lovely too! They even walked us out to a taxi when we checked out. We can’t believe how great value this hotel is and we’re already looking at booking another trip to come back! Thank you for a perfect trip!

This hotel was perfect for our family of 4 Barcelona vacation!! The rooms were spacious and well appointed and the air conditioning was excellent. The breakfast was a wonderful start to each day and we loved the roof top pool in the evening after a day of sightseeing! The lobby bar was great and even had live music on Thursday nights. Every member of the staff were kind and friendly !! I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

We LOVED the Corner Hotel. The service was great, it is very newly redone, and is very clean. The daily maid service was thorough and reliable. The staff was extremely friendly at all times. The rooftop pool and bar is very nice. The breakfast is very fresh and high quality. In fact, we woke up at home this morning, and we both missed the Corner breakfast! The only thing we would prefer is if it was just a little bit more in 'the mix.' It's definitely walkable to La Rambla, but it would be nice if it were just a block or two closer to Rambla de Catalunya. Still, it's an awesome place to stay.

So many positives, so I’ll start with those first. Beautiful hotel, stunning pool and roof terrace. The location is amazing, housekeeping are so kind. It was our wedding anniversary and we were so surprised to get back to the room and find a bottle of Cava and some cake, genuinely such a lovely gesture. Breakfast was OK, could maybe have some more hot options. Really think the roof top bar needs to stay open past 5pm, it’s a great place to sit, so closing it at such an early time is a little odd. The only reason for not scoring it 5 stars was the check in. The guy was so incredibly rude to us. Got to the room and it was a disabled room, so we went back to reception and asked to move. Different man this time but equally very short tempered and horrible. Everytime we saw the first man who checked us in, he would scowl at us, really disappointing behaviour. Would we stay again? Yes. It’s a very nice hotel but a couple of the staff ruin it.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. You are surrounded by some great restaurants and bars that are full of locals and does not at all feel touristy. You are only a 15 minute walk from La Rambla area and Pg. de Gràcia with all its beautiful shops and Gaudi inspired architecture. Get the open top , hop on hop off bus from Plaça de Catalunya €33 for 24hours. Best way to see the city. Back to the hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming , friendly and lovely. A special thanks to Raymondo at breakfast , always a big smile on his face , and Cathy at the rooftop bar , she could not do enough for you. Chatty and good fun. Made us feel very welcome. The rooftop pool area is an oasis in the city. A great selection of food , freshly prepared and tasty, and drink reasonably priced. Plenty of towels for you to use and seating in the shade. Welcomed in the summer. A excellent choice of food at breakfast , everything you could want , and on till 10:30 . The hotel decor is modern and tastefully done. The bedrooms are silent , even although it is on a busy street. We were on the top floor, below the pool, and could not hear anything. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean. We only wished that the downstairs bar area was used more , it didn’t appear open. Which is a shame as it’s a beautiful space. I would happily recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Lovely modern hotel in a great location for getting around the city. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious, modern and bright (the beds are massive!!!). Was very quiet at night, which was surprisingly considering how central the hotel was. All the amenities in the room were great, plus a good selection of toiletries, so if you’re only taking hand luggage they have pretty much everything you need…even toothbrush and toothpaste. Would definitely stay here again. We didn’t use it, but the pool looked nice and the roof top bar was nice for a pre dinner drink. Staff up here were very helpful.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at the Corner Hotel under the management of Carlos. The recent power outage turned my stay into a nightmare, and the lack of assistance or compensation from the hotel only exacerbated the situation. The unresponsive staff left me struggling without essential services, and Carlos's apparent disinterest in addressing the issue was truly disheartening. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone after such a dismal and unhelpful experience.

Dear Ahmed, First of all, we want to thank you for choosing The Corner Hotel. We are truly sorry to hear about the issue your group faced during your stay. The power outage due to the large rain in Barcelona affected some buildings around the city during a couple of hours, including our hotel. Then, one of the members named to be talking on behalf of the group asked to meet the manager (there were 10 members more during the meeting). During the conversation we explain that even when the incident came from the outside we keep our commitment and take responsability by offering a 20% discount of the whole stay as a compensation. Moreover, we also gave complimentary drinks and free late out to all rooms. On the other hand, the person in charge of the group refused the compensation by saying he only will accept 35% discount, otherwise he would decline any compensation and threatened us the whole group will write negative reviews everywhere. Finally, we understand that the compensation must be commensurated with the incident, not with the menace. Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion and giving us the opportunity to clear up the situation. Best regards, Carles Martínez General Manager

We stayed in the hotel after my brothers wedding and there was a big group of us. We had such a bad experience, as the electricity in the hotel went out for a few hours and then some of plugs and light did not work for the next two days. Our safe stopped working with all our valuable in them including our passport. One of my friend who was going back early nearly missed her flight because we couldn’t get in the safe. The phone in my room was also not working. And on the day of the power cut, my room was not cleaned. I had to go downstairs to speak to management twice. We spoke to Carlos the manager and he was not being helpful. He gave some of our party 20% discount and then refused to give us the same offer.

Just returned staying 4 nights. What a delightful hotel, room we had was small but ample and the wardrobe space was reasonable too. Good bathroom with a power shower. Bed was very comfortable and the best pillows!! Breakfast was good, very quiet staff but the people dining were very friendly and we managed to speak to other diners which was a pleasant start to the day. Special shout out to Charles who was very accommodating and welcoming. Lovely place to stay and there are some amazing restaurants nearby. Taxi stops right outside and only around 6/7 euros to The Rambles. Will hopefully return one day to visit as weather this time was way too humid. One thing, we did enjoy - the pool and roofbar are amazing just wish there had been more sunbeds (only 4) rather than more of the deckchairs but it didn't spoil anything for us 😉
