Bit interesting to find as in the middle of what seemed to be a housing estate, once inside the was cool and inviting, the food was good and hotel room had a nice view over the nearby river. Good secure parking, felt like you were stepping back in time.

Overlooking the mighty Duero, the hotel is built at the location of a former convent, just a 10-minute drive from Valladolid's old town. Our room was spacious and clean. Good buffet breakfast is served under this impressive courtyard under a glass dome.

We stayed one night at this great clean and spacious hotel. We enjoyed our stay but got very disappointed with the poor quality of the breakfast. The cakes were those types packed in plastic you can buy anywhere cheap, the hotel would really win by baking themselves the breakfast pastries and bread or buy it in a good local bakery. We bought cakes in a tiny bakery in the main square for very little money but the quality was far better than at the hotel A pity as the hotel architecture is rather impressive and inspiring I would like to come back but Zita would not buy breakfast unless I can see the quality has improved

Spacy rooms and beautiful lobby. Choice of room services, gym, spa. Not in the center of the city but close enough. 10 min ride from train station. Beautiful botanic garden nearby. Overall, great value.

This is a very striking hotel in a position outside Valedolid. You will need a taxi (10€) to go into town unless you are quite a confident driver. The staff are very helpful, the hotel is clean but be prepared for corporate guests (large numbers) and from our viewpoint two baffling things: 1. The hotel makes much of its Jeronimos restaurant. It looked beautiful but it is never open, at least not during our three night stay including a weekend. For a hotel that claims 5* a simple cafeteria in the main space is not good enough. One of the reasons we booked was to try this restaurant! 2. The hotel has a very pleasant green space down to a river. It is inaccessible unless you ask the way and are taken through the never open restaurant by a members of staff!! This area is pleasant- why no tables, parasols or service on this grass area - perhaps during the day. Bizarre. Perhaps someone could advise me about these two issues.

Response from psadtor, General Manager at AC Hotel Palacio de Santa Ana
Responded Oct 2, 2018
Dear customer: First at all thank you for your comments that are always beneficial for our daily improvement. Apologies for what happened in your stay about the restaurant experience. Having another events is not a reason not to take good care to the other hotel guests. The alternative place for the restaurant must be better than a "simple cafetería". Therefore, and thanks to your comments, we have already hard working with the corresponding department to look responsibilities and establish mechanisms so it doesn’t happen again. We reiterate again our apologies for the incidents. Thank you again for your comments. We look forward to seeing you again in our hotel and to apologize personally. Thank you very much for everything. Kind regards.
