Very friendly receptionist, only difficulty was knowing that there was no parking at the Hostal but we used the hospital parking for security. 14.30€ for 24hrs. The Hostal accommodation was clean and comfortable if a little basic. No facility for making a cuppa which is always useful. Salamanca is definitely worth a visit.

This hotel is amazing value in a good location, easy to walk to the old centre with free parking in side streets nearby. The owner is lovely! Very friendly and full of really useful suggestions for sighseeing, dinner and breakfast. Our family room was clean, spacious and air conditioned. I don't think it would be possible to find a better...

Most low cost hotels are difficult to find -- hey, that's why they're so cheap! Hostal Goya is very easy to find, right off the main thoroughfare into town. Walking to the Plaza Mayor and historic district takes all of 15 minutes. So, great location, and very clean, comfortable rooms. Yes, they are a tad small, but if all you...

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location on the edge of the Old City and easy walking distance from the bus station (I walked to the train station too, on my departure, but it's about 2 km.). Easy to find, good directions provided. An excellent room, well appointed, comfortable night's sleep. But just 'okay' WiFi; too many dropped signals.

This small hostal is well worth considering if you plan to visit this beautiful city. It is located just metres away from where the old town starts, and some 15 minutes away from the bus station. The guys running "Goya" are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy, so are the bathrooms. There are several food shops...

We were here for 2 nights and had a beautiful spotlessly clean spacious room – nice bright décor, 2 very comfortable single beds, 2 chairs, balcony with double glazing so very quiet, good size wardrobe. Air conditioning. Sheets and towels changed daily. Separate spacious bathroom, spotlessly clean with beautiful tile floors. Excellent position, 5 minutes walk to main square in...

I have spent three nights in Hostal Goya, which is a rather hotel-like establishment that sports a convenient location, spacious, nicely equipped rooms and, reportedly, a 24-hour Reception — while I wouldn't bet on the latter, I recall seeing someone at the desk around 1:30 am, which is not a regular occasion in a hostel. Pros: - 10 minutes walk...

On a busy road, but the two of us had a big room and slept well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Away from the tourist area but an easy walk, and close to local bars and restaurants.

While it is an okay place, we had a problem with air conditioning. We booked with Infohostal, a site that books hostales in Spain. On the site, it said there was air conditioning in "the rooms". My husband and I took this to mean that all the rooms had a/c, as no where on the site did it say any...
