The hostel is clean and has everything that you need. However it does not have a bar therefore there is less athmosphere if you think that is important. Would recommend for staying the night. Rooms are newly refurbished

There was no atmosphere at the hostel at all. The woman who works during the day doesn't understand English well, so it was a little hard communicating. The rooms were very small for 6 people, and the fact that there is not enough plug sockets is horrendous for travelers. The population staying in the hostel was also very weird. Some were there for long term, and most were around 30s to middle aged people. I felt very awkward as a solo female to stay in this hostel.

Looks great, very clean and great location but I couldn’t stay here. There was one plug socket for 4 people in the room and one shower and one toilet between 3 bedrooms so that’s 12 people sharing one toilet and one shower. I know it’s a hostel but even for Spain that’s really poor. It could just have been the room and floor I was on so I can’t categorically state that this was the case for everyone but certainly where I was. The electricity was the main thing for me because I rely on charging 3 devices so one electric point at the other end of the room between 4 people wouldn’t do.

I spent two nights in Erasmus Home toward the end of May. It was safe, clean and the staff were friendly. The hostel is in an excellent location and so it was easy to head back for an afternoon siesta before dinner. The only downsides were that the bed was unbelievably uncomfortable and a fellow guest had been able to contact me via Facebook after seeing a copy of my passport details at reception. I did not feel comfortable knowing that my personal documents were not being kept safe.
