We stayed one night in Salamanca, chose this hotel due to excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. Has on site valet parking (15 euros), beautifully appointed lobby and 5-Star service. Room was dated but cleaned immaculately and the bathroom was one of the best I've ever seen. For the price you can not find a better hotel in Salamanca.

We would support all the previous enthusiastic reviews of this hotel. It is superbly situated within easy walking distance along a pedestrianised street (Toro) of the central square (Plaza Maior) and other places of interest such as the old library, uiniversity and the two Cathedrals, not to mention the shops. Its foyer is dramatic and the diining room superb, with... More

Just about everything! This is a very noble, elegant hotel that has a very nostalgic charm and touch! Just a stonethrow away from the historical center of Salamanca and a 5 to 10 minute walk from the train station. The suite we had was perfection!!! Thank you to the management and staff. It has been an unforgettable stay for us...... More

If you love wood and marble, then this place is for you. Herringbone wood floors everywhere, big, marble baths, and inlaid wood furniture is the motif. The dining rooms continue the pattern, adding glass chandeliers as well. Breakfast was so-so, but our lunch (the main meal in Spain) was excellent. We found the beds comfortable and the hotel's location excellent.... More

Stayed there one night with Insight tours. Well positioned hotel with was clean and tidy. Our room was spacious, European standards, but the bathroom was a little small and could have done with a hand held shower as it was a disabled room. No shower curtain which meant the floor got slippery. Better planning in the bathroom layout could make... More

The hotel was very nice and the staff were professional. It seemed to cater more to a business crowd and we were here on vacation. We only spent one night and the hotel was within walking distance of the train station. The only complaint I had was that the beds were very firm and not comfortable. The room was spacious... More

Although it is a good location, wasn't totally satisfied. It had pros and cons. The rooms were large and had good lighting - not dark and gloomy. Beds were hard and not comfortable. Wifi was free, but not strong. I never could send an e-mail from the room and forget the Internet. Staff was friendly. Food was average. Only stayed... More

The Hotel Alameda Palace offered a good sized room which had only twin beds - and not a single bed, as we had requested. The two twin beds did not have individual bed lighting - it was either all "ON" or all "OFF" which was uncomfortable for both the late-reader and the early-sleeper. The bathroom was large with a full-sized... More

I booked this lovely hotel a few days in advance. It was my first time in Salamanca. The photos online looked beautiful, and I must say, we were not disappointed. The lobby and the hallways give one the feeling of being in an exclusive, much more high-priced hotel. The bathroom in the room was my favorite feature of the room.... More

The hotel was lovely. The only negative comment was that the bed was very hard, and the linen coarse to sleep on. The staff were very friendly, although be aware, the shower is over the bath, and the hydro shower a surprise to navigate
