I stumbled across the Hostal Granada on one of the major booking sites while looking for budget accommodation which was within walking distance of the centre of Salamanca as part of my trip around Spain. Not only is the Hostal Granada keenly priced, but it is an absolute gem. The whole experience was fantastic from the email I received just...

The hostel is situated just a 5 min walk away from Plaza Mayor. The rooms are very clean, bathroom is large and the staff is very friendly. The hostel feels safe and in combination with the price the value is high.

Really good value hostal, a little dated but for the price you could not complain, staff are friendly and is a short walk to old town. There is on street parking (to pay) but there is free parking nearby but we could not find a space, ended up parking in underground. Would recommend hotel (at that price). Note - this is...

I stayed two nights during easter. The hostel is located just outside the historic city center with all the monuments within walking distance. Very helpful straff. Be aware that there are no reception service except on arrival and at certain times. Rooms were ok, with TV, wi-fi and a Nice bathroom. Some traffic on the street in front, but all...

We had one of two top floor rooms and heard no outside noises. Although, we did here the guest next to us using the bathroom. The staff was extremely helpful and insisted on assisting with our luggage up the stairs. Bathroom was large, and shower had excellent water pressure. Bed was comfortable, although bedspread is looking a little worn. The...

We were very happy with the close proximity of Hostal Granada to the attractions in Salamanca. The rooms were clean, comfortable, good a/c, and the wifi worked well. Sergio was extremely helpful in directing us to free parking and giving us a few pointers for our visit. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home and to...

It's all been said already - good value, great location, very helpful friendly manager and very clean. Across the road from the historic centre of Salamanca and some neat local shops on the door step - also very quiet location. I would return - we were on the top floor (2nd) and didn't find it dark as some reviewers have...

Run by a lovely couple who are very happy to help with any enquiries. Excellent value for money, as is Salamanca itself. Small room but very clean. Only downside was that out of 3 sockets in the room only one was the right size for appliance plugs so if you wanted to charge your phone you had to unplug the...

Very very good deal for the price. On street metered parking is close. The hotel owners are very nice. You can tell she is really proud of Salamanca. Checking in was easy. She explained all the sights so we didnt even have to visit a tourist office. Very clean hotel
