Close to Plaza Mayor, and las catedrales, Hosteria Sara was wonderful. Very helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Very pleasant stay in beautiful Salamanca. Elevator for upper floors. Great restaurants nearby.

Exactly what we were hoping for. It is a simple but homey and comfortable spot right in the center of the old city. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The kind woman on duty when we arrived came out and helped us get our car parked in a secure garage a block or so from the hotel. Then all...

A very warm welcome, efficient check-in & great ensuite room. We had a balcony overlooking the Main Street (Melendez) with beautiful views. Sara is in the best possible location, right in the heart of the historic town. I was concerned the room might be noisy but this was not a problem at all & we stayed when Salamanca Festival was...

We stayed here for one night. The hotel is right in the heart of Segovia and the room was very spacious, with a big bathroom and a balcony looking down onto the street. The street had a bit of a backpacker or studenty feel to it, in a good way - it didn't feel rowdy or run-down. There was some...

Above some restaurants in a narrow pedestrian street, very close to the main tourist sights, this little guest house is not spacious, but rooms are clean and have all the essential facilities. Staff speak no English but are helpful; we had to employ a mix of sign language and guesswork to augment our very limited Spanish. Parking is available in...

Have been staying at the Hostal Sara for nearly 11 or 12 years now and the service is as great and first class as ever thanks to S, A, and N... the three lovely women that maintain it. Rooms are clean and well kept. H. Sara is a hop, skip, and jump fro the Plaza Mayor of Salamanca, a must...

This hotel is surprisingly nice, clean and excellently located in downtown Salamanca. We were expecting a small room because it is a "Hosteria" and not a "Hotel". However, the rooms are nice and comfortable and the service is excellent. It provides a great ratio value/price. We will definitely stay in this hotel when we return to Salamanca.

Beds were sufficient, full bath and shower (huge fluffy towels!), TV, friendly staff, with wifi and a price/location that is fabulous mean I will return!! However, for my next visit I'll be asking for an "inside" room... We were in 102 and right above the bars downstairs. Smokers, socializers were about and jovial but generally gone by midnight-ish... But the...

This hotel is literally a few steps from the Plaza Mayor or Town Square and therefore much of the action of vibrant Salamanca. The location is ideal and all of the historic landmarks are within a 15 minute walking radius. Although the receptionist could only speak Spanish, this was not a problem as she made herself understood, explained how the...

My criteria for hotels are a good nights sleep and a decent shower. The Sara is in a great location right in the centre of town only minutes walk from the cathedral but is surprisingly quiet, we didn't hear a thing at night. Personally I found the mattress far too hard but as my companions had no complaints this must...
