This is a great hotel while in Salamanca. I tend to be a difficult rater and consider that as you ponder where to stay. We stayed 2 nights in early October and the fee was 492Euros including parking and breakfast. I was worth it. The hotel is small, quiet, very elegant, clean and within easy walking distance of all major... More

I drove to Salamanca from Valladolid in December .I  had not visited in 10 years and I chose the hotel based on location, and without much thought. It turned out to be a veritable homecoming. We arrived at the hotel at noon and were immediately taken care of: our car was parked  and we were shown to our rooms.    Salamanca is a special city.     In the winter,if it's... More

Escaping the mayhem of the city for a few days during our travels to attend a wedding, my Mum and I booked 4 nights at Don Gregorio and absolutely loved it. From the helpful, friendly and attentive front desk staff to the location and the layout of the stunning room we were given we loved our stay in Salamanca. You'd... More

We had expected so much more, given the write-ups and the price. On arrival the coconut mat by the front door was littered with cigarette ends, pieces of paper and didn't look like it had been cleaned for a week and stayed that way during our 3 day stay. At reception, the clerk who spoke very little English, simply checked... More

We spent 4 nights at this hotel and loved it. The room and bathroom are spacious, modern and clean. The free breakfast was excellent and plentiful -- a beautiful buffet and made to order omelets and egg dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful -- all spoke English. And the location can't be beat -- an easy walk to all... More

This five-star hotel is ideally situated in the picturesque town of Salamanca - a beautiful Cathedral stood right across the street. Thank goodness, Salamanca has so much to offer or we would have gladly stayed in the hotel. Our room was huge, bright and beautifully decorated. The breakfast selection was large and included hot items off a menu. The hotel... More

A small luxurious hotel near the historic centre (5 mins from Plaza Mayor, University, and Cathedrals, and opposite the Convent of St. Stephen). Historic building with ultra modern refurbishment, but keeping some antiques in the public areas. Aside from the comfort of the rooms, what makes this hotel a pleasure to stay in is the quality of the personalised service... More

There is nothing nicer than coming back to a beautiful hotel to relax after a day of sight seeing and Don Gregorio was that hotel. It is located near the convent which is stunning. Our room was so beautiful, comfortable and large it was like a sanctuary. The decor was elegant . The bathroom was stunning . The TV was... More

The only reason for not giving this 5 stars was the dinner in the restaurant which lacked any atmosphere and the food was only average. Another minor gripe was the hotel reception/concierge was only maned by one person which could be frustrating if you had someone with lots of questions or difficulties in front of you. But it must be... More
