I decided to stay at the Don Gregorio as it was a 5 star hotel. I booked a superior room with a view. On arrival we were taken to our room. It was tiny. and the view consisted of a side street and the back of buildings. Certainly not my idea of a superior room and not at the price... More

This is a proper boutique hotel. Friendly staff, easy check in and nice atmosphere. Walking distance for all the nice places to visit by foot. Excellent new rooms will all the trimmings. If you like five starts (which I do) this is for you. If you arrive by car park in front to unload your bags and the porter will... More

We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Pros: Softest beds we have had in Spain - so comfortable and so many pillows. Beautiful room Great location Great staff Spa and massage - fantastic Cons: Were not told the car parking would cost us when we checked in. It was 18 Euros per night. For a 5 star hotel... More

Located in the old city and a 3 -5 minute walk to the center of town, it is an ideal option in Salamanca. It is an old Mansion turned into a 17 room hotel. Our room was spacious with a sitting area. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was exceptional with a shower stand, jacuzzi tub, toilet, bidet and double... More

Most comfortable room, staff could not have been more helpful. Food was excellent, and once we had found our way around the cobbled streets, easy to find the beautiful old churches. We took the little tourist "train" around the city, good value, went down to the Roman bridge, which we probably would not have walked to in the heat. I would be very happy to... More

This delightful hotel is in an old building which had been carefully restored. It was quiet and peaceful when we stayed. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Reinhard. The courtyard has been covered to make a comfortable sitting area. The rooms have lovely floorboards, the huge bed was very comfortable with Spanish bolsters and continental pillows. There are flexible... More

firstly this seems to be the only hotel which doesnt have signs to it anywhere. We went by twice and then found it by asking at another hotel. The entrance is very low profile ,as is the name.We arrived very tired and mentioned the above but the reception man just laughed. Not a good start. Surely a 5 star hotel would have the... More
