Spent a couple of nights here with a friend. The place has a old-school, traditional look and furniture, so if you are looking for fancy modern stuff this is not for you. I personally loved it, the room was clean, comfy and spacious and so was the bathroom. The location is great, right in the centre of the city next to...

Well it's ok, but.......nobody there to welcome me, the aircon didn't work (and it was 38 degrees outside) and the toilet cistern kept running - all day and all night! Good location though. Inevitably a bit noisy.

We arrived at the hotel after a very trying drive from Madrid, where unfortunately, I had gotten some "Tapas malos" the night before and was in some serious gastric distress. I hit the room and the bed in mid-afternoon----simple, but clean and comfortable----and told my wife to go enjoy herself with a city tour, and just allow me to "die...

I only had one day and night in Salamanca and wish I had stayed longer. This is a wonderful city and this is the perfect place to stay. Very affordable and perfectly located behind the Plaza Major I was happy to find that the hotel also housed a very good tapas bar and excellent restaurant. My room was very clean...

Hosteria Casa Vallejo was my favorite stay of our recent trip to Spain and Portugal. It isn't luxurious, but it is clean, charming and right around the corner from Salamanca's Plaza Mayor. The staff was friendly in a natural, unassuming way. We did not actually eat in the ground floor restaurant, but it was always full, and the vibe coming...

The hotel is clean and rooms are big and cosy. The bar downstairs offers great tapas, canas and wine. People at reception are nice as a family and offered us a nice bottle of wine to excuse wifi was not working in the room. But we could use the one, working very well, at the reception. Great position! Just few...

Hosteria Casa Vallejo, the owner told us, was a building in the family for over a century when they decided to renovate it to become Hosteria Vallejo. They love their hotel and it shows. Very small hotel tucked just off Plaza Major .. fantastic location. Everything about the hotel is crisp and clean. We loved the bar next door which...

Hosteria Casa Valljo - A charming small hotel in the beautiful city of Salamanca, just 50 meters away from Plaza Mayor - in the old city. I would go back anytime, it was so nice! The city, as well, is a fairytale where you can walk around for days!

The price was right for a very clean, good sized room in a great location. The room looked recently remodeled with plenty of storage for luggage. The hotel is over a cafe which unfortunately was closed because we stayed on a Sunday night. Shutters block out the light for a good nights sleep. A good choice for Salamanca.

The owners are super lovely. Nothing is a bother for them. Nicest hotel experience I think I may have had! The tapas bar downstairs is one of the best we came across. No need to look any further for a fantastic tapas experience (The restaurant below is also very good). Rooms small but clean & very comfortable. We had our...
