The hotel is located in the "quiet" center of Toledo, a five minute walk from the main square. The reception staff pleasant, the hotel is decorated in a contemporary style. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet enough. The friendly staff, who try to do everything to make you relaxed and not think about nothing. Very good hotel manager, professional...

An understated luxurious hotel tucked away in the center of Toledo. Huge comfortable rooms( we had a junior suite) and a very good restaurant ( see separate review). Good insulation. No street disturbances and a welcoming staff. Excellent value for money.

Understanding and finding a good hotel room inside a walled city let alone in a foreign country can be both daunting and disappointing, however, finding Fontecruz was not the case. Okay the roads are less than narrow with nearly no road signs your only true hope is a good GPS. Low and behold we found it. Once inside this is...

We were surprised by the size of the rooms - they were huge!!! with baldachin over bed. The hall is huge. The design is very pleasant. The only strange thing was that the front manager is Many-faces Yanus - the only person is opening garage door for coming cars / checking-out / checking-in / consulting guests / replying for rings...

Rude staff which doesn't care about you at all The hotel is literally falling apart and nobody takes care of it. So if something is broken it's broken forever. There are nice stains on the ceiling in lobby after some water leak. Bar is there but it's just closed all the time. Same story with the restaurant and spa. Air...

This hotel is rated 5 stars but there are definitely some things about it that are not worthy of five stars. There is no concierge, and the restaurant was not open any of the nights we were there (I have never stayed at a five star hotel that didn't have a restaurant open every night). There is no door man...

Stayed here for 2 nights in October 2016, the hotel is well situated about 5 mins walk from the Cathedral. It is really well decorated and of a high standard. The only issues that stop this been 5 star are that the spa/pool area were not in use, closed for maintenance I was told, but this was not mentioned to...

We wanted a central hotel as we only had a day and a half in Toledo and Fontecruz fitted the bill. We had looked at the Parador but that is located on the other side of the valley that partially surrounds the town. The hotel is very, very good and tastefully restored. Not much to look at from the outside...

The palace itself is beautiful and the lobby impressive and decorated in a heavy but tasteful classical style. As we stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip to Spain we had asked for room with views, but when we arrived at the hotel we were advised that none of the rooms have city view as the only view you...

This is a beautiful and charming hotel, very well located in Toledo a few minutes walking distance from the Cathedral. The hotel is nicely decorated and quite comfortable for the guests. The rooms are large, very comfortable, nicely decorated and the bathrooms are large, comfortable and well appointed. My only complaint is that the WI-FI coverage was spotty. Breakfast is...
