This hotel is rated 5 stars but there are definitely some things about it that are not worthy of five stars. There is no concierge, and the restaurant was not open any of the nights we were there (I have never stayed at a five star hotel that didn't have a restaurant open every night). There is no door man...

Stayed here for 2 nights in October 2016, the hotel is well situated about 5 mins walk from the Cathedral. It is really well decorated and of a high standard. The only issues that stop this been 5 star are that the spa/pool area were not in use, closed for maintenance I was told, but this was not mentioned to...

We wanted a central hotel as we only had a day and a half in Toledo and Fontecruz fitted the bill. We had looked at the Parador but that is located on the other side of the valley that partially surrounds the town. The hotel is very, very good and tastefully restored. Not much to look at from the outside...

The palace itself is beautiful and the lobby impressive and decorated in a heavy but tasteful classical style. As we stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip to Spain we had asked for room with views, but when we arrived at the hotel we were advised that none of the rooms have city view as the only view you...

This is a beautiful and charming hotel, very well located in Toledo a few minutes walking distance from the Cathedral. The hotel is nicely decorated and quite comfortable for the guests. The rooms are large, very comfortable, nicely decorated and the bathrooms are large, comfortable and well appointed. My only complaint is that the WI-FI coverage was spotty. Breakfast is...

We arrived to join an Amber Road Tour of Central Spain, and walking into this quiet, refined foyer after 27 hours flying time from Australia was a delight. The restoration to preserve the central courtyard with its stained glass roof over a very elegant lounge area was superb. Our tour company prefers atmospheric hotels, close walking to city sights, and this ethos certainly...

This place has a beautiful lounge area, the decor and furniture are stunning. There are lovely ceiling frescoes and stained glass lantern lights. My room was lovely, although I think the carpets had seen some wear through the Summer as they were in need of a clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is located a short distance...

The classic-decor rooms in the Fontecruz Toledo de Montijo are decorated with hand-made carpets. They also have antique furniture.Lovely building - great style Great location Nice room. his hotel was VERY quiet and comfortable. Recommended and booked into REALLY good restaurants. Parking easy provided you book beforehand - not a big parking garage but very convenient.

Center city location. Suggest eating bf at the nearby Cafe del fin with free wifi, if the 16 E breakfast is a bit pricey. Large room and large bath/dressing room with full amenities. Room safe, fridge, etc. VERY quiet, great beds. Cobbled streets and uneven hills in Toledo so suggest comfy shoes and short excursions.

This hotel like many is within this walled city and is less than 5 minutes from the city's wonderful must see cathedral. However it carries a premium for this. We had a generous discount having booked on a Mon/Tues when it's restaurant and spa is closed. Situated up a dead alley way it is difficult to locate gps essential we...
