A decent standard of hotel inside the old city walls and within walking distance of all of the attractions, even in the heat of August. The rooms aren't enormous but adequate and tidy. The hotel boasts an excellent restaurant and guests receive a discount so definitely worth trying. Nothing bad to say.

We stayed two nights at the hotel and were very happy with our choice. The location is great and close to all attractions by walking even to the other side of the old town. Booking the room 3 months before arrival we got a fair price to this 4 stars hotel. The room was large, pleasant, quiet and clean. Very... More

Probably the best thing about this hotel is that it isn't in the middle of the worst of Toledo's tourist bustle. It's in the middle of the old Jewish Quarter, and the rest of the stuff you might want to see is a short walk away. The rooms aren't very modern, there's no place to sit, which would be a... More

Beautiful hotel in the Jewish Quarter of Toledo. Clean, friendly and EASY to find if arriving by car. The hotel also has on site parking in a garage. The room was a good size and had all the amenities you need. Breakfast was also very good. The staff was both helpful and friendly

Very nice hotel. The superior room was large and clean. The area was quiet. The stay was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room we stayed in was a superior room on the 3rd floor. It had a beautiful jazcuzi tub in addition to a walking shower. There were 2 sinks. Tons of closet space. Air conditioning... More

I stayed one night on Sept. 17th 2016 at this hotel I had stayed there once before in the 1980's. There had been some changes particularly in the reception area but they were all for the better. The hotel is in the Jewish section of the city and only 200 to 300 feet from the home and museum of El... More

This hotel was very comfortable and gave all we needed for our three night stay. The restaurant was way above average, we had two wonderful meals there. Room quiet and cool. Could not fault this hotel and we would recommend it and certainly use it again if we returned to Toledo.

Nothing to criticise here, except perhaps the lack of tea and coffee making equipment. The room was quite large and the bathroom also. There are a number of attractions on the doorstep, and it is about a ten minute walk to the Cathedral. The breakfast was quite good, but any hot food had to be requested

The location is perfect, just at the side of the old centre, with lots of restaurants and nice historic buildings nearby. We had a quit room at the back of the hotel, which was beautiful, clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly. Parking at the back of the hotel, from which you can enter the hotel.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This building of the hotel dates from 1889. At first, it was used as a cold steel Factory. "The San Jose Flour Factory" was created in 1918 and continued its production until July 1996. The Factory was used for the production of flour, marzipan, chocolates and sweets. Its products were among the most valued and known, not only for the use of raw material with an unbeatable quality, but also for the technical methods that guaranteed the supply and production of the different products. This building, considered a point of cultural interest, preserves its Neomudejar facade and is a magnificent representation of the 19th Century industrial architecture. Opened in May 2003, The San Juan de los Reyes Hotel is located in the emblematic Jewish quarter of Toledo, in the historic city centre next to the main monuments: San Juan de los Reyes Monastery, Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue, Vitorio Macho Museum, El Greco Museum, Santo Tome Church, El Transito Synagogue. ... more   less
