Great location, helpful staff, and decent rooms. Breakfast is less than expected but still of good quality. The hotel is close to all historical places. Don't miss the walk to the view point over the hill to see Toledo. Try also the mazapan sweets it is one of the best.

We stayed here for 1 week and we not disappointed. It is in the quiet area of Toldeo but within a 5 minute walk to the busier areas. The room was spacious and very clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from. The staff were very helpful and polite. If staying in Toledo I would... More

The location is great, within walking distance of everything you may want to see in Toledo. Really quiet, great restaurants around. We request a balcony, and we got it, but the view is not the best. Definitively a place you want to return to. Don't bother to rent a car, you can take a taxi if you need to.

A well-located hotel in a great location. Our room was clean and well air-conditioned. After a long hot day in Toledo, it was very welcoming. Parking was easy to get to in the middle of very narrow streets. The staff was most helpful and very responsive. Breakfast was very fresh and delicious.

Our room on the second floor overlooked a quiet lane. It was roomy, spotless and quiet. The air conditioning was very efficient and a blessing in weather of over 40 degrees centigrade. The bathroom was also a good size, well equipped and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant very good with menu choices more imaginative than most places... More

A Charming property in a charming town. Perfect base for a 1 day exploration of Toledo. Many options to visit Toledo on day trips from Madrid but we really enjoyed the place in the evening as well. I highlight of our two weeks in Spain.

We've just finished a short tour of Toledo, Seville and Granada and can honestly say this was the nicest hotel we stayed in. The staff are lovely and so helpful - we arrived late at night and they just sent us straight to our room so we could do the check in the next day. The included breakfast was excellent.... More

Great hotel with kind staff. The hotel is very clean. I was especially impressed when they let us check out a few hours late without a charge. Definitely a nice hotel near everything in historic Toledo.

In July 2016 we stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Our twin bed room seemed a small but it was clean and functional. The beds were a bit firm but pillows quite good. The air conditioning in the room worked very well, a must as it was around 40°C when we were there. Nice bright and clean bathroom with a... More

We stayed two days in Toledo, and were very happy with this hotel. Lovely big room, airconditioning (a must in the Toledo heat), and very close to all the main museums and churches. The bus stop was right outside, which made heading up the hill much easier on our second day!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This building of the hotel dates from 1889. At first, it was used as a cold steel Factory. "The San Jose Flour Factory" was created in 1918 and continued its production until July 1996. The Factory was used for the production of flour, marzipan, chocolates and sweets. Its products were among the most valued and known, not only for the use of raw material with an unbeatable quality, but also for the technical methods that guaranteed the supply and production of the different products. This building, considered a point of cultural interest, preserves its Neomudejar facade and is a magnificent representation of the 19th Century industrial architecture. Opened in May 2003, The San Juan de los Reyes Hotel is located in the emblematic Jewish quarter of Toledo, in the historic city centre next to the main monuments: San Juan de los Reyes Monastery, Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue, Vitorio Macho Museum, El Greco Museum, Santo Tome Church, El Transito Synagogue. ... more   less
