We had an excellent stay at Toledo Parador. COVID-19 safe, professionnal, well organized, with a local chat on duty to support the customers. 5 stars service ! Many Thanks for this great moment ! Philippe
Hôtel is not in the city center but outside with the best view on Toledo. Downside is that you definitely need a car to get there and also when you want to visit the town or find a restaurant for dinner (you can also eat at the hotel, there is a restaurant and a cheaper option at the bar/ cafeteria). Parking is free in front of the hotel but was full when we arrived - the receptionist helped us find a space. This is a very big hotel with a lot of people / rooms so don’t expect something cosy. Staff is very efficient and professional - we found a hornets nest when coming into our room and they immediately changed us room. Room was very nice with a big terrace (superior room) and an amazing view on Toledo. They also have a nice pool which is great in summer (have to book a 2h slot at reception when checking in). Good breakfast, lots of choice, very nice staff. Overall a very good hotel that we definitely recommend, in particular for the view (book the superior rooms). …
The best view of Toledo, perhaps, is from this hotel. The staff are friendly, but the Covid 19 protocols have made it very sparse. The rooms are large and clean but not particularly well-appointed. The food as in most Paradores, is good, fresh and based on local ingredients and dishes.
It's been said over and over but it's truly a spectacular view. We had a room with a view of the town across the way (I'm not sure if all do), at this property I would pay extra for the view. I picked up wine and olives at the bar and we sat on our balcony and watched the sun come down, beautiful. Check in was good, they directed us on where to park for our visit to the town, the room was clean and comfortable, huge bathroom. Dinner was good as was breakfast.
