We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we walked in to the front lobby until we left. What a great space. It's very old school in terms of decor from the furniture to the tiles. The room was on the smaller side but still a great value. The bathroom was modern. One warning if you visit in the winter-the bathroom...

Decent room but paper thin walls. Friendly staff. Parking available but you better be good as the garage is SMALL. Good value as we didn't see a lot of options for a hotel in the area. Do NOT drive in the old town.

I visit Toledo at least once a year and usually stay at a different hotel. This year my visit coincided with a big medical conference and this was the only three-star-and-above hotel that wasn't sold out due to that. My initial impression of the room was not good: furniture was very very basic and bare-minimum, bed was OK, bathroom was...

We stayed here for one night as part of Leger tour. It was just outside the centre and very well located for visiting the city. Hotel was clean and welcome was friendly. Our room was comfortable, although it overlooked a main road and was a little noisy. This hotel does not have a bar. We were served a set mean...

We were staying at another hotel and happened upon Maria Christina's menu board outside and decided to give the "menu del dia" a try. The restaurant was full of chattering Spaniards which we've always found to be a good sign. Three courses with coffee, water and a bottle of the local tinto set us back 33.99 euros. That's what I...

Great hotel, great location, friendly staff and very clean, however car parking was an issue. Only 6 spaces available for small cars and reservation for a space was not available. I found this to be unsatisfactory as I was carrying valuable golf equipment in my car. Parking close by (500yds) costs €15

The hotel is certainly authentically Spanish. Housed in a converted small pox hospital established in the 16th Century, it has a nice decor of country furniture and attractive Spanish floor tiles throughout. It is also well-located, just outside the city walls. The main Toledo square and the Alcazar are about 15 minutes walk (up a steep hill; there are regular...

I travelled with a tour group from Ireland - the Travel Department - on a holiday entitled 'Madrid and the highlights of Central Spain'. We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights last week. The hotel itself was fine - typical of what you'd expect for a 3 star hotel. A few of us were in single rooms and we...

Nice charming hotel, built on an old Castilian building, beside the historic Tavera Hospital and very near the historic centre. It's decorated in an old fashion, only ruined in my opinion in some rooms (ie. the lunch/dinner hall) where they mix it with more modern decoration. The rooms are old-fashioned, and the bed mattresses were hard and uncomfortable, which is...

The hotel is about a ten minute walk away from the old city. If you arrive by train it is a 6 euro cab ride from the station. The hotel is typically Spanish in style with gleaming tile floors, dark wood and suits of armour. The rooms are comfortable(the beds are a bit hard) with a nice bathroom. We stayed in a...
