Stayed here for two nights to attend a friends wedding. Very good value, friendly staff and very clean property. Location wise is very accessible (just don't bring a heavy suitcase! ;). Love the old and traditional Spanish ambiance of this lovely little hostel as well as the surroundings.

Stayed here for 5 nights while visiting a friend teaching in Toledo. 5 minute taxi ride from the train station. Lovely little hidden gem, lovely decor inside. Very quirky and clean, staff friendly and patient with my poor Spanish. My room was literally in the lobby which I had mixed feelings about but all was fine. Very clean and tidied...

Found this hotel by accident after driving up from Marbella late and tired. Had to park higher up the road in a big car park (Euro 19.20) for the night and walk back with the luggage. The hotel is very attractive inside, the room comfortable and with a decent bathroom. The breakfast was really good with proper boiling water for...

We actual stumbled upon the Hostal Puetra Bisagra by accident. I had booked a hotel down the street, whose front desk closed at 11 pm, which I didn't realize when I booked it. Toledo was our first stop in Spain and after landing late and getting lost in Madrid, we found ourselves to our hotel too late. Hostal Puerta Bisagra...

We stayed three nights at Puerta Bisagra, and have no regrets at all. On the down-side, (and we arrived by car) it is tucked away in a pedestrianized area which requires a 400 metre uphill walk to (expensive) subterranean parking with one's luggage. However, it was comfortable, quiet and (for a heritage town like Toledo) very reasonably priced. There was...

My room smelled like smoke and the reception did nothing to try to resolve this. It was not possible to change rooms as it was full. Also the room was close to the reception and you could hear people talking loudly. I've had a much better hotel in Toledo which was even cheaper!

Great location a little hard to find at first but in a great spot. Cheap rate clean tidy hotel good breakfast great staff. Rooms have thin walls you can hear a little noise but for the price you won't find better. Get a room at the back to avoid any road noise place has a laundry and wifi !

I had a room facing the street, I enjoyed the location and slept ok. I thought it was a good base to explore the city from. Room was tidied if you leave a card requesting it on the door. Breakfast was fine enough, and fresh fruit offered. Pleasant staff on reception, would stay here again.

Decided to book this hostel as it had very good ratings, and said to be very clean, and modern. Staying normally in hotels this was the first and last time for me in a hostel, however the staff is very friendly, the rooms are good size, the bathrooms enormous - even for hotel standards! The downside was the humidity of...

I did not particularly care for my stay here. The room given to us had a musty odor which for the most part was not detectable upon our arrival given the window was opened and a warm breeze was filling the room; however, once the night air settled in and the window closed, the dampness and mustiness were very prominent....

“The rooms on the lobby level and upstairs level have air conditioning as do all other rooms but the air conditioning in these rooms are controlled at the front desk. You have to go to the front desk to tell them you want the AC on/off in your room on these floor levels. The other rooms have controls in the rooms. Also, take a look at the rooms- they are different from one another, some with romantic little balconies and windows facing interesting architect ute.”
