Different style of Parador, but very nice, comfortable room and good location i.e. not far from home, although 4 km outside Albacete. Friendly staff, excellent dinner and local wine. Quite close to a busy road, but traffic noise didn't really disturb us.

Parador in a La Mancha Farm style. Outside Albacete near the high ways. And close to a militairy area. Large hotel with large corridors. Garden with swimming pool. Rooms in tipical parador style. A little bit old fashioned. The hotel looked quite empty when we were there. No people in the cafeteraria or on the terrace. Breakfast was ok but... More

Absolutely authentic and typically Spanish. Really friendly welcome and spacious rooms. Has a small pitch and putt, swimming pool and excellent bar/restaurant . Our room was huge and although not modern was clean and comfortable with stacks of towels, pillows and bed linen. The bed was king size and more. There was also a spare bed come settee and flat... We stopped one night on a half board basis and were given a first floor room overlooking the pitch and Put course with a balcony bearing two comfy wicker chairs with cushions and a circular table. The bathroom was large with double sinks, WC, bidet and a shower over the bath. Everything was spotlessly clean with a provision of toiletries... More

I have used this parador once or twice because of its central location. Last (my very last time) was a nightmare. The house was full of celebrations - communions - why not - but the hotel had made no effort to seperate normal guests from the celebration parties. Noise, chaos. The restaurant was far below fast food restaurant standards, except... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. I had asked for the accessible room that they have but I think I was bumped as there was a wedding in over the weekend. We got a standard twin room instead They gave us a nice ground floor room with views over the pitch and putt course so we could watch the flags... More

With apologies to everybody who lives in Albacete, we didn't find much to recommend the place, except that it's convenient to stop off in on a journey between Valencia and Madrid. The Parador is built round a central courtyard in a style that Cervantes would recognise, but it's much more comfortable than any of the places Don Quijote might have... More

Great service, and a solid restaurant. The waitress, Marga, was super nice and patient with my ordering. But the hotel, which is in a historical old compound that is quite cool in its own right, has basic rooms with some aroma issues. Specifically, the sewer system can convert any room into a bothersome stink, so I was told. Staff was... More

We were booked here for 2 nights but left after 1. The place is not fit to be a Parador, it is a cheap doss house to stop on route to other places. The "superior" room I booked was only superior because it was upstairs with a little balcony overlooking a parched, dusty pitch and putt course(Padlocked) It had a... More

Despite being Parador Amigos we were given a smokers room that stank like an ashtray. Unusally for a Parador the restaurant food was extremely poor. Fish appeared to be defrosted by Microwave. Restaurant also doesnt open until 20h30. Complaints to reception were met by 'it isnt a smoking room'. Next day on check out they confessed it was the only... More
