Located on the water in the beach part of town. We showed up late, about midnight, are lucked out with a suite. Spacious doesn't begin to describe it! The casino is right across the street. Secure free underground parking. Strong WiFi.

Hotel was fine, clean and has everything you need. It is super close to the beach and the walk into town is lovely, taking you right along the sea. The lady at reception was friendly and showed us where to go on the map but I think we should have been warned that use of the underground car park was...

Repeat stay at Hotel Don Carlos for one week - clean, convenient to beach and all El Sardinero activities. Ate Sunday dinner at the restaurant (seafood, of course) and it was excellent and reasonable in price. Service (Jose) was very good, and the recommended choices were great. Morning Coffee and pastry every day was also cheap, quick and good. Desk...

This is a good little apartment although the building is not much from the outside. Check in was easy although they wanted to keep my passport for a while but insisted they took the details now as there were several other UK passports lying around on the desk, not very secure. Receptionist spoke good english. We had what must be...

Well located within walking distance to the beach , casino and a few nice restaurants. The hotel bar serves nice simple food. Very friendly staff. The wheelchair accessible room has a great wheel in shower. PLEASE NOTE the lift if quite small I had to remove footplates to enter.

Second visit to this aparthotel. Staff very friendly and did not interrupt our version of Spanish language. English is spoken very well at reception but will listen attentively to Spanish being spoken. Great situation close to beach. Catering facilities adequate for a holiday. Towels and linen changed daily. The Cania bar in the adjoining street had wonderful food and the...

Stopped of in Sardinero district (The posh part of Santander full of beautiful architecture and a lovely beach just yards away from the Don Carlos) to meet friends travelling through. At their behest we met at the hotel cafe. Simply I would say you must visit to meet Jose a one man whirlwind who despite a sudden influx of visitors...

Hotel is situated 2 min stroll from sea front with good walks in either direction along promenade or beach. Also in immediate area are a selection of decent restaurants, our favourite was Lisboa serving an excellent paella and slightly further down prom Chiqui bar was good. The room was large with an open plan lounge/dinner/kitchen and separate bed and bath...

This is an old apartment block, so rooms are quite roomy. The decor is rather old-fashioned but everything is very clean with comfortable beds. There are only 2 electric rings to cook on but plenty of pots, pans, etc. There is also a large fridge, dining table and chairs, sofa and TV with several channels in Spanish. Reception staff are...
