Even the hotel is not in the city centre, it has a good location, near the harbour, and only a 10-15 minute walking distance from the centre. There is a nice walking route at the ocean front with georgeous plants.

check in and out ok but not really friendly. Room was in the 2nd floor which is ground level on the back side of the house. View over a backyard and on a wall. Getting the luggage upstairs without elevator was unpleasant; narrow stairway. It was getting quite noisy in the morning.

It was good value for money and the room and bathroom were clean, the staff pleasant and helpful and my room had a balcony. However, in early January, the bed needed a duvet. Even with the spare blanket, I was very cold. It advertised a “laid-back” restaurant and a bar. The restaurant’s description was an understatement. The service was not to be seen, though friendly enough when it arrived. Most of the items on the menu had been crossed out and there were a few handwritten options. I ordered the avocado and tomato salad followed by hake. Eventually, the waiter told me the chef wasn’t happy with the avocado, so I asked to see the menu again. No menu appeared but he returned after about 20 minutes with a perfectly acceptable avocado and tomato salad! Whilst eating this, he came back to say there was no hake (a handwritten item) would I like cod!! The bar was fine with more reasonably-priced tapas food but the tables needed a good clean.

Was base of operations, eight-day stay. Close to cafes, small markets and bus sfop..Ten minutes from main. Bus station that connects to Candalaria, puerto de la cruz, monte teide..No elevator but for fifty euros a night you cant complain. Take bus from airport.

This is a good hotel with a nice location. Rooms are clean and big enough... Some of them have balconies! There are some shops and restaurants in this area. Such a cheap and nice hotel to stay during your holidays!

This isn't a hotel to stay in for a holiday or any sort of luxury break, but it is a good , basic, functional place to use as a base in Santa Cruz. We found it to be easily accessible when driving, being just off one of the main city thoroughfares, and it has free roadside parking right outside. Our double room was basic but perfectly clean and had a spacious balcony and decent bathroom. We had booked and paid online and found check in to be quick and efficient with no problems, the guy on reception was also very helpful with directions to city attractions etc. The hotel isn't central, but is only about a ten minute walk from the city centre along the seafront and also close to the central Rambla Se Santa Cruz footpath. Downside of the place for us was just the noise. As other reviews have mentioned, the walls seem to be very thin and it can sound like the neighbours are actually in your room! This wasn't too much of a problem for us as there did not seem to be many guests, but I can imagine it being very annoying if the hotel was full. Overall we found the place to be good value and would use it again.

The rooms are clean, modern, and being away from the City Centre nice and quiet. Good place to start your exploring from, we like walking so the 10 minutes into town is a nice bimble, with a few bars sited along the way. There are 2 resteraunt cafe's near the hotel, the food is great, very authentic, you'll see lots of locals there, and very reasonably priced.

Out of town in a residential area so you can park your hire car outside. Friendly staff and a very clean hotel. Quite cheap. Rooms are a good size but there are virtually no hotel facilities except WiFi and a small lounge with a vending machine (broken all the time we were there). Good café style food can be found nearby. The main issue is the noise. Walls are thin and noise also came through from the floor above. Outside the road traffic is also noisy even at night and nearby dogs were loudly barking at all times of the day and night. Before we booked we saw some reviews that seemed to give a good rating but they do not describe the hotel that we visited. It has no views and no pool!
