I booked through Booking for a night with my two kids, have been calling all day to confirm my booking which they could not find. When I arrive in the hotel still no sight of my booking and unhelpful receptionist .After lots of arguments he throws me a key to room with a 3 single beds with a view of wall, looks like prison ,had to go back explain that I didn't paid for that and the answer was "What is the diference whit this room and the one I purchased in Booking???!!!!Horible Staff
Wonderful little hotel right in the heart of a Santa Cruz serving a lovely buffet breakfast with an unbeatable view of the harbour and mountains in the breakfast room. You are a few footsteps away from everything. Bed and bathroom bigger than most 2 star hotels but bring you own shampoo. Better than a lot of expensive 3 star hotels. One warning, unless you are at Santa Cruz to participate in Carnival, this hotel is only a few metres away from a big stage with pounding music during carnival season
My room was 802, one floor below the cafe/breakfast room. I stayed for one week 11th January 2020. Views were of the plaza and port and the mountains to the side. The staff were all very very helpful and happy. Breakfast was very very good, with the large selection changing daily. The breakfast lady was very pleasant and gave a genuine welcome at mornings. The room maids were also helpful, and kept the place very clean. The central location of the hotel is perfect for any walking within the city. The hotel gets very busy at weekends so book early. My balcony was large and nice to sit and relax enjoying sundowners against the beautiful backdrop. Fridge in room, and full sized bath in washroom.
The 4* are for the conditions of a 2* hotel. Clean rooms (they had the idea of placing floor tiles on the walls, even behind the bed.... hilarious), clean bathrooms and good budget breakfast. Staff was friendly.
Stayed here from 19th Sept to 26th Sept 2019. So cheap and excellent FULL Breakfast (i was expecting a Continental Breakfast) Excellent central location on Plaza Espana. 10 mins walk to main bus station. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Very quite. Very clean. Flat screen multichannel TV. Free strong WIFI throughout the hotel. 24 hour reception. Brought some friends to breakfast, only €5 each. Lovely views from rooftop restaurant. Hope to go back again in December.
It's a very reasonable price hotel I stopped there on a B&B basis as you are right in the city center and there are lots of bars and restaurants around the staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is to much for them to do for you. Will stay there again.👍
We booked one night in this hotel after a cruise in the Canary Islands before flying back home. Situated in the center of the city, the hotel is surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. On hte top floor is a cafeteria with a panoramic view over the harbour and Plaza Candelaria where you can have breakfast daily. The hotel offers free wi-fi and newspapers. Rooms are very clean, spacious, with private bathroom and balcony. Staff at the front desk is profy and can provide you informations about visiting Tenerife, rent a car, taxi, etc.The hotel has easy acces to public transportation,is situated about 10 km from the Airport Norte. It is a very good hotel if you want to visit Tenerife. I would recomend it .
The first thing we noticed was how clean the room was being in the B&B trade for 20 years we noticed that behind the TV was cleaned ( this sometimes gets missed ) . Very central next to Canderlaria plaza so perfect for exploring the city or catching a cruise . Breakfast can be a little crowded as they share with their sister hotel but could not fault what was on offer Please remember you are staying in the heart of Santa Cruz so do not expect peace and quiet.
In my opinion, the only thing it has got, is its location which is right in the city center. Very noisy in the early hours when you are trying to rest. The dining room is not suitable for the number of people who have breakfast there. Don't take the stairs unless you really know where you are, some of them don't lead anywhere. I hope you don't get lost in an emergency!
It is a good hotel for a couple of days if you are planning to be outdoors most of the time. If has all the amenities required, an alright bed, tv, blankets, and bathroom. It was very clean and the staff was friendly. The pillows were not great, very small, there were no extra ones and the fan looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years and it was about to fall apart. We asked them to keep our luggage after check out and they were happy to do it but there was no luggage storage, they just left them in a small space they had next to the elevator with no lock. But overall it was a good stay.
