The Noel Colon Rambla is a lovely hotel, situated in a good location and is of a high standard. The room we had was a suite and it was very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable with a lovely view across the pool. The TV was not good as the UK channels kept breaking up, but not a big issue for us. The facilities were excellent, including the shower and coffee machine. It’s not good that you only get one milk per person when you have 4 coffee capsules which we used and 2 packets of tea. I would suggest they leave at least 2 per person as there is simply not enough milk for drinks. This is a totally non smoking hotel and whilst that’s good for some, I cannot understand why we could not smoke on the balcony with the room doors closed. You had to go out on to the street which was not good. One other niggle is that we wanted coffee from the bar in the morning to sit outside with but the young barman said we could not take it outside. I queried it and he said it was “his bosses rules” so we asked for a takeaway cup on,y for them to have a very small cup, so we decided not to buy coffees. The breakfast was ok, despite waiting 10 minutes for fresh eggs, the orange juice running out and no tomatoes replenished. These are small things but they stuck out in an otherwise lovely hotel. We stayed at the Colon Rambla for a week and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a residential area next to the Ramblas and a few minutes walk to the main area park. You are in the center and close nearby to all restaurants without being overwhelmed with tourists in other areas of the city. The windows are double paned so there is no noise in the rooms. The staff is super friendly and they go out of the way to help you. The lobby is beautiful and spacious, super clean. We had a junior suite and we faced the garden/pool area which is beautifully maintained. We were surprised by the size and depth of the pool. It is the perfect place to chill out after a day of sightseeing. The bed was super comfortable and so was the bedding and pillows. The a/c worked to perfection. The room was super cleaned and the bathroom had the best shower ever. It was a strong rain shower. This hotel has been refurbished in the last few years and it shows. We also reserved a garage spot, very important if you have a car since it is very difficult to find parking outside. The breakfast was plentiful and great service every morning. Also, the capsule coffee machine in the room was a plus and you can request extra capsules. The only complain that we have is that they don't have enough pool towels and they tend to go quickly. Other than that, this was a great place to stay. Our daughter and family also had a room on the same floor and their experience was as wonderful as well. Gracias a todos!…

Very nice part of the city, near a pleasant park. Rooms are exactly as described and pictured, they did not disappoint. Extremely comfortable, from the bed to the bathroom facilities and complimentary services. Beware that onsite parking is limited, and you are unlikely to get a space unless you pre-book, which we didn't. As a result, we had to either park on the street (this is no easy task) or at a multi-storey car park half a mile away. We did not try the hotel breakfast, but one morning we used the onsite bar for a coffee and a sandwich, and it was very pleasant, as well as reasonably-priced. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to use the swimming pool. Would highly recommend.

Chose this hotel because of its location in the centre, near ramblas etc. which is ideal for walking around exploring. Had the breakfast too which is well worth it , lots to choose from and easy to handle buffet. Great selection of coffee too . Pool and it’s surroundings too very good ( including pool towels from reception). Lots of good eating places nearby too . Personally was disappointed with room , mainly bathroom which didn’t have the advertised “ rain effect shower “ and actually had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the bedroom. In hind sight wish I’d booked the junior suite instead of confort room . Staff very pleasant . Booked car parking in advance which is definitely a must.

stayed here for 3 nights during our time in Tenerife . We choose this hotel for its location to the port and town . The hotel was spotlessly clean , plenty of space , lovely bathroom with toiletries. Tea and coffee facilities, mini bar . The hotel had a lovely outdoor swimming pool and offer pool towels for those that required them. We didn’t have breakfast here but had an evening meal which was really lovely . Plenty of local restaurants and bars within walking distance . Would definitely return to this hotel .

We needed a central place to stay for one night en route to La Palma via Tenerife North airport. The Hotel Colon Rambla fitted the bill perfectly; the staff was very friendly, the hotel and its pool and grounds very well appointed and our room was enormous - a suite really. Very comfortable bed and generous modern bathroom and shower. The €8 charge to park in the hotel's basement car park was value for money, as there didn't appear to be any available parking in the neighbouring streets in Santa Cruz . I can't comment on the breakfast at €9.50 pp, as we chose not to have breakfast in the hotel. Would certainly stay again.

A fantastic choice for Santa Cruz. Great position in a lovely residential area just north of the town centre, easily walkable to most of the main attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly Vicki and Daniel on reception and the breakfast lady whose name we never found out. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice and a nice relaxed environment. We ate dinner there three times, mainly because we got back late, and the food and service were also really good. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very nice too. Our room was a “junior suite” which I would recommend if budget allows. Very comfortable with a spacious bathroom and great balcony. Just two little gripes - a second bin in the main room rather than just the bathroom one would be great. Also the “bedside” lighting is really impractical if one person wants to read and the other not! Proper reading lights are much needed please. Highly recommended.…

We stayed in a very comfortale and spacious junior svit. Lovely balcony overlooking hills, garden and swimmingpool. Very comfortable bed. Cosy sofa. Large bathroom. Wifi worked well. Very good breakfast. Beautiul buildings in the neighbourhood. Short walk to shops and restaurants. Convient bus stops nearby. Check out person was nice. Floor cleaning could have been better. For two persons they give only 1 soap for 2 nights. For the last 3rd night they gave 2 soaps.

This is a lovely hotel,well appointed and scrupulously clean with helpful,pleasant staff. It's located in a very attractive part of Santa Cruz with beautiful old houses and large parks nearby but also convenient for the centre with great restaurants and shopping.

Very clean and comfortable. We added the breakfast to our stay and had dinner on our last night. Food was great. Most importantly, staff was excellent. They are well-informed about the island and activities. We enjoyed our pre- and post-cruise stay there. Would definitely book again.
