We came here for a few days away for my boyfriends birthday and I’m so glad this is the hotel we picked! The hotel staff were kind and welcoming and our room was amazing. I’d messaged the hotel to see if there’s anything they could do to decorate the room on the day of my boyfriends birthday as a little surprise and for a small fee they decorated with balloons and confetti, gave us a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of Cava which was lovely. They even left him a letter to say happy birthday and head to the bar for a surprise which was sweet. The room itself was amazing, we were given a room on the 5th floor, it was modern, spacious, had a comfortable bed, a coffee machine, separate bathroom with a shower and bath and had an amazingly large balcony with views of Mount Teide and the sea, it was incredible and definitely helped towards making the holiday so great. The rooftop pools and bar were lovely and peaceful and the breakfast was great with lots of options. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so lovely, we will definitely be back!…

I have just returned from from a week’s stay in this hotel, I have stayed in numerous hotels in Puerto and thought I had found the ideal one on my previous visit. As that hotel wasn’t available for my this visit, I decided to book AF Valle Orotava. I was I glad I did - in all honesty I couldn’t fault it. I arrived very late and was surprised to be told there was a meal waiting for me; my room was stylish and most of all an extremely comfortable bed. O k the part glass walls in the bathroom could be a problem for some but don’t let it put you off from staying I booked half board, never had any problem getting a table, food was excellent, friendly waiting staff, meat and fish cooked to order if you wanted and deliciously excellent. This hotel is very close to the centre of town, amazing Mt Teide view from my balcony which had Astroturf as a floor covering - it was luxury. Most of all, the air conditioning worked. Have I found a gem of a hotel in Puerto! So if your looking for a hotel there, look no further.…

This hotel is ok , it's definitely clean , rooms are modern and lovley. Rooftop pools are nice however quite small. All in all not great experience, reception staff especially Tamara who was just bluntly rude and unhelpful. I would also warn other guests that this hotel does take lots of group bookings and all the tables in the restaurant seem to be empty but reserved for hours , so if you are a couple you struggle to get the table...and staff really could not care less...I am sure you can find nicer environment to have your holidays for the same price ...

This hotel is modern, clean and comfortable, 2 fantastic pools on the roof, breakfast is buffet style, hot and cold with good choices. Rooms have a large balcony with 2 sun loungers plus a table and chairs, air conditioning is great. Unfortunately the door to the bathroom is clear glass therefore there isn't any privacy when using the toilet and if sharing the other person has to keep stepping out of the room. Excellent shower. But bad design flaw. Jose at reception so friendly and helpful, thanks for sorting WiFi so quickly. Unfortunately due to bathroom issue I would be reluctant to return

My partner and I booked a last minute holiday to Tenerife back in February, we got to the hotel and was greeted by a lovely gentleman called Jose who was very informative and handed us a map with places to visit and where to find the carnival which was being held in the town during our stay. He also booked our tickets for Loro Parque. The room I couldn’t fault it was spotlessly clean along with the balcony. Everyday the towels were replaced and toilet roll topped up. The hairdryer in the bathroom was pretty decent, I’ve used worse. We stayed B&B…Breakfast was good, would definitely recommend you going down before 9 or you struggle to get a table. The range of food was sufficient. I was impressed as I have a dairy allergy and they did offer almond and soya milk for your cereals. The coffee machine also could be translated into English. The rooftop pools weren’t heated like the website states however it was that hot I was grateful for the cool water (water wasn’t freezing). The rooftop is a sun trap. You can hire towels for the loungers for a 20euro deposit which we got back at the end of everyday. The location is great as well it’s two minute walk from the square with lots of restaurants and bars and the day trip bus stop is opposite the entrance. 15 minute walk from Loro Parque. Lovely view of Teide. Housekeeping staff were always smiling and would greet you whilst passing in the corridors. Overall I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Can’t wait to come back and visit. …

I have just come back from a week at this hotel. It was a wonderful stay. We were greeted by Jose at the reception who couldn't have been more helpful. The checkin was so quick and efficient. The hotel itself was wonderful. We had a lovely corner room which had both views of Teide and the sea. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. The buffet breakfast was very good. I would highly recommend a stay here especially with the friendly staff especially Jose.

We've stayed here 6 times since march 2022 and have always been very happy with all areas of hotel from staff to cleaning to rooms. This last visit we noticed the breakfast had improved although the same as before tasted much better I would highly recommend this hotel from our experience here. We've stayed in a number of other 4* hotels and found this to be the best overal in all areas big thank you to all the staff and management for making our stay a pleasant experience.

We stayed for ten nights as part of a Tui package holiday. I booked this location by accident thinking it was the capital, Santa Cruz, but very lucky as Puerto de la Cruz in a much nicer place. The hotel is located in the town centre, five minutes walk from the main square and is excellent in every respect. The roof top terrace is the perfect place to relax, the rooms spacious and immaculate, the staff very friendly and the breakfasts cannot be faulted. Overall I cannot recommend the location and the hotel enough if you want a luxury holiday in Tenerife. Thank you to the management and staff for a great holiday!

This hotel is a modern recently upgraded hotel with large comfortable rooms and a large television with all the channels you will want. Ask for a Mountain View room but try and avoid the 5th floor as bar and pools are on the 6th and it has the potential for noise. We had no noise whatsoever on our 4th floor room. Breakfasts are the same each morning and whilst it can get very busy after 9am the staff are very efficient and guests all seem to get tables without issues. This hotel is all about location. Only a 5min walk to the main square with all its restaurants and bars and only 3 minutes to the bus station. Using the buses is simple and you can buy a one day travel card for just 10€ which you can use on as many buses and trams as you need for 24 hours. If going to Santa Cruz and La Laguna we would recommend getting the bus to La Laguna first as a lot of the shops close for siesta at 1:30pm there and then get the tram down into the heart of Santa Cruz. …

Having spent a few nights here last year we returned for a week this year! We love Puerto de La Cruz and this hotel is worth coming back to. It is right beside the bus station so no need for car/ taxi and the bus brings you back to Tenerife Sur Airport. The hotel itself is bright modern and spotlessly clean . It is within walking distance of bars, restaurants shops and the beautiful harbour area. It has a wonderful rooftop pool and cafe/ bar with stunning views. We booked on a B&B basis but ate in for dinner 3 times . The dinner buffet is varied each evening but we like to try all the wonderful restaurants also. The staff here are outstanding particularly Jose and Kitja who helped with any issue and were so friendly and treated us like long - lost friends rather than clients. We hope to return someday and wish Kitja all the best for her return to her studies.…
