NUMBER OF ROOMS
Due to the Corona epidemic, we moved from Blue Sea Costa Jardin and Spa to Blue Sea Interpalace, but both hotels were excellent in their service level and coming up with as many solutions for the guests as possible within the possibilities and growing restrictions. Great animation team at Costa Jardin, especially Michael, Alex, Elena and Sofia and the rest of the team, who did everything within their powers to give the guests a great time. But also the reception staff, restaurant staff and housekeeping were great to be around. Very friendly, with a high service level. We will definively come back to Tenerife, Thank you!!
Bad time to request a review. Only stayed at this hotel because we were moved from the Blues SeaCosta Jardin due to the Coronavirus situation. We were on lockdown all the time we were there so unfortunately I am unable to give a perfectly honest review. I thank the hotel for looking after us in such difficult circumstances.
This hotel could be so so amazing! But it’s not. Not even close. (Would like to add this review is purely based on the 3 days we got before the shutdown and quarantine) Oh yes, only 3 days... out of our meant to be 2 weeks! 1. Rooms: Not the room we requested; as a couple, we got 2 single beds instead of one double; balcony door was struggle to open and didn’t even lock; tv didn’t work and barely any channels to watch except for cartoons and news; even when they clean the rooms, there’s no new linen or towels. 2. Food: it’s the same everyday apart from MINOR changes; the food isn’t even remotely hot; the drinks you can get at dinner are more often out of order than actually working. 3. Entertainment: essentially none and when they say there is, it’s pitiful and non-engaging. 4. Amenities: the bars are around but open at weird times and closed before they’re meant to be almost always; you have to pay to rent the cups??; laundry service is stupidly overpriced so don’t plan on doing any; the pools are alright but once again are almost always closed??; don’t get me started on the “heated” pool, it’s about 18 degrees as apposed to “25 degrees” as he told us. 5. Staff: the bar and restaurant staff were always quite nice actually and had a smile on their face! The reception staff however, couldn’t give less of a sh*t if they tried, always unhelpful and grumpy. We asked for an upgrade which they said they don’t do (even when they’re advertising right next to the desk) they said they can move your room for €10 per night extra. We then asked for the romantic package/upgrade, to which we got “no.” “No we don’t offer that you’re wrong” we literally looked at the screen next to the desk where it was offering it! When it came to the lockdown of the hotel during quarantine; we wanted more clarification with as to what we could actually do and they gave us the same sheet of paper that was on the walls, we said we had read it but would like more of an explanation, once again it was shoved in front of us. When another guest asked reception what would happen with their all-inclusive items (drinks) as they closed all the bars completely, the receptionist told them to “go back to your country” “leave or I will call the police”!! This guest was very calm and just wanted to know where they could get some juice at non-meal times! This hotel doesn’t seem to care about the actual guests or the experience they’re getting - so all in all - wouldn’t bother if I were you and we are certainly not coming back!!…
No ball games allowed around or in the pool. No signs to say that you aren’t allowed to do so. Staff are rude also never want to help with anything. Modern hotel but not a welcome feeling. Food is average and currently under renovation so have to walk across the road to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner if all inclusive. You have to buy your cups when at the bar which you’ll have to do everyday if you don’t save your cup. Bars are staggered with opening times and shut through the day 🤷🏽♂️. No iron for clothes. Would be a nice hotel if they didn’t cater only for 60+ age group
There are three hotels that make up the resort ,two next to one another. The other one on the opposite side of the road. There is a restaurant in each Hotel but all are not always open dependent on the time of the year. You may sleep in one Hotel and eat in another. The food I thought was good !I had no complaints, the all inclusive drinks finish at 11.00 though you can buy drinks after that time. They can be a bit lax about cleaning the room, and you may have to chase them at times to have it done. There is a pool in each hotel, and a children's play area. Overall I enjoyed my stay and staff were friendly enough.
