Hotel was clean and tidy the rooms were a little dated but clean the aircon didnt work even though i reported it to reception twice and the other people in our group of 8 also had no aircon so it was really hard to sleep in the heat other than that the beds were comfy the room also had s fridge which was nice and a kettle but no tea and coffee making equipment as you had to pay extra for that. The breakfast was basic and luke warm at best it consisted of cold mrats pancakes beans scrambled egg which was rubbery fried egg thinly sliced slimey bacon tomatoes and potato wedges. There was fresh bread cerial and fruit if you didnt fancy chancing the dodgy breakfast. The staff were really nice though. Their also seemed to be a lot of people sitting in the lobby every single day same faces and kids messing around in the lifts which lead me to believe this hotel was housing a few people as they didnt look like they wete there on holiday. Overall it was in a good location near the sea and across from a great bar however we wouldnt stay there again

I am very disappointed with the hotel! The description said that the hotel was recently renovated, but from my stay there I found that it was not. Old and dirty hotel, smells very unpleasant, air conditioner does not work. The food is very basic. For a 4 star hotel it doesn't even offer water in the room. The restaurant is located underground and it is very unpleasant, during the meal utensils fly from everywhere and the noise is unbearable. The only good thing about this hotel is the staff.

We escaped to this hotel, after leaving a hotel with no aircond. This hotel had a well functioning aircondition... heaven. Friendly athmosphere, exept the bar-fellow... we asked for a coffee, and he replied "this is a bar, and we don't serve coffee"... Not very custom friendly. The room was nice and clean, with enough space, and a good size balcony, safe and good beds. There was a hot water maker, but no cups or teaspoons. We stayed for 6 nights. Three elevators working good..

People, don't waste your money on this hotel! Corresponds to a 2-star hotel, everything is old and depreciated. The rooms are under all criticism, the air conditioner does not work, the mattresses are quite hard and guarantee that you will not have a good sleep. The food is very monotonous. The coffee and juices in the restaurant are the worst quality I've ever had in my life. The pool is small, the sunbeds are old and broken. In addition, the restaurant is underground and is like a beehive. The rooms are noisy because the windows are old, you can hear plates clinking all day long. The elevators are old and slow and in most cases you have to take the stairs.

Stayed here for 5 nights with my partner and our 11 year old son. Enjoyed our stay. Hotel and rooms are clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We went full board, breakfast was great, only thing I was disappointed with was there is no fresh fruit juice, its just diluted juice from a machine. Lunch was good. There wasn't a huge choice for dinner, my son mostly ate chips and chicken most nights. My partner is a vegetarian and really enjoyed the selection available. The pool bar is decently priced and the pool area is a nice place to relax. As we were on the top floor we had to use the lifts every day, these can get very busy during meal times and you had to wait around quite alot. Best thing about the hotel is the location, and the view from balcony if you get a sea view room.

This hotel wasn’t that cheap and was as basic as can be. Dated looking. Had no air con all week in room even though we complained constantly. The cleaner wasn’t great bins weren’t even emptied. Food was shocking bad! Not many sun beds though we’re comfy. Safe had to be paid for and there was no water in rooms ( had to buy them) there was a fridge but was tiny. I would not go bad and not recommend . For our first holiday it was so disappointing, only good thing was staff being friendly, Anna was so lovely it’s a shame. Don’t waste your money.

I've been on family holidays for a week. From minute one that you arrived, the staff at reception, very nice and helpful. The location is perfect, one step away from everything, shops, restaurants etc. The hotel is very cleaned, the rooms comfy, the staff that does the room very friendly. We had breakfast lunch and dinner inclusive. You have a variety to choose from. The restaurant staff very nice, helpful and making sure you had everything. The bar the same, lovely staff. In the afternoon was entertainment, Aura was lovely and very professional. Totally recommended to stay.

First the good parts: - location is nice, close to the sea and the historic centre, even Loro Parque is reachable for those not afraid of walking - hotel is generally clean, friendly staff and the beds have good matresses - car rental is at affordable prices and includes free parking spot right under the hotel Then the bad parts: - the hotel looks outdated with strange choices for design as the omnipresent neon white lights - rooms are quite basic, no fridge inside (available for rent though) and noisy, you could hear everything happening in the hallway. Balcony door also let some of the outside air inside - elevators were not coping, allways had trouble finding one first day. After that we used stairs. - the restaurant is a gloomy place with no windows and low ceiling (thus very noisy). Waiters have the nasty habit of throwing the used cutlery in boxes making loud noise also. - food was decent, after a thorough search we could find something to eat every day. Sweets however were very bad quality, even awful. Overall: did I enjoy the stay here - almost, will I come again - no, will I recommend - no.

The entrance ceiling is a magnificent example of Spanish architecture then the downhill slope began. The check in was perfunctory mainly due to the language barrier. The room the first thing was the broken tiles both on the wall and floor. The curtains were grubby, some would say filthy. The bedding is at the end of its useful life, threadbare. The room was otherwise clean. During the stay the maid service was good and they performed miracles with what they had. It should be pointed out that there is one small swimming pool that is unheated and only gets the sun for a very limited time during November. The sun beds likewise have a limited amount of sun time. The view from the balcony is a limited sea and mountain view and a magnificent view of a 14 story hotel less than 50m away. The food. DO NOT EXPECT HOT FOOD. The soup is nearly always a “minestrone” that is tepid at best. The bread is nearly all VERY hard crusted. The hot (mildly warm) food is dominated by chicken and fish and the hottest is that which is griddled in front of you. The Italian corner is an unseasoned offering. A good variety of fish but very nearly cold and lacking seasoning. Breakfast is routinely unvaried and uninspired. The sweet offering is likewise unvarying the only saving grace is the ice cream. One of the “hot” places showed a temp of 74 but felt like 25 to the touch and this might be the problem. The advertising is a very slick job but I am afraid reality falls far short of expectation..

Dear Mr. Nigel, Could you please send us an e-mail to check your reservation? Our reception team speaks the English perfectly so we do not understand the intention of your comment. If you had had any problems during your stay, we would have liked you to inform us, to make it as enjoyable as possible. The food in the restaurant has maintenance heat and we check daily that it is correct. If something stands out especially our guests, it is the wide variety of dishes that can be found during each service. Our buffet has 20 starters, 10 mains and desserts daily..and we have show cooking to, where they find different meats and fish every day. We're sorry that you didn't like it. Best regards.
