The hotel was bright and light with spacious rooms- we had the basic studio but it had a full kitchen and a balcony you could sit out on- we were on floor 1- floor 5 also had the bar which could be quite loud if you were trying to sleep- didn’t affect us- very welcoming and friendly staff, excellent food via the buffet( we booked for breakfast but also ate there a few evenings- great value).Lovely gardens- free shuttle bus down to the centre and back until 7- would definitely come here again!

Hotel's Favorite
We have just returned home from an excellent stay here, all the staff we met were friendly and helpful, the room was brilliant, over looking the well kept gardens. We opted for the bed and breakfast stay, the buffet breakfast was good value for money and suited everyone. The hotel is up a hill and may not suit the elderly or those with mobility issues but a courtesy bus is available,we were happy to walk to town and back again. Overall we would happily stay at Eden Park again.

We were looking for a hotel away from the 'beach orientated' razzmatazz usually associated with the south of the island and closer to the islands' natural landscapes. This hotel fitted the bill perfectly. Our room, a studio, on the 4th floor was spacious and clean with views overlooking the garden and towards the mountains. OK, so the décor is a bit '80's in design but it was fine. Big plus-points for us were a spacious bathroom with a large walk-in shower, a large bed and plenty of clothes hanging space. Importantly, it was also quiet. There were the usual terrestrial UK channels on the TV although we hardly watched it TBH. The rooms are not air conditioned but our room, which faced south-east'ish remained cool with curtains drawn during the day even though outside temperatures rose to near 30C at times while we were there. As with services in general, it's the staff that can make a big difference. We found the Eden staff to be excellent, particularly in Reception and the Restaurant (Eusebio and Michael deserve special mention here). Friendly, helpful and very accommodating with my attempts at speaking Spanish (their English was excellent of course). Our overall verdict on the food was that it was 'OK' - plentiful and lots of cosmopolitan options. The weather while we were there was good so we were able to eat outside most of the time, which was a pleasant treat. We hired a car (from CICAR - highly recommended by us) for the duration of our stay and were able to park it in the hotel grounds for 5 Euro/day. There is a limit to the number of spaces though and although we never had a problem it may be necessary during busy times to use their alternative (also off-street) parking a short distance away. Puerto de la Cruz is on the slopes or the mountain range and can therefore be a bit of a challenge for those with impaired walking mobility. There are a few, mostly short, gradients in the grounds of the hotel but there are wheelchair friendly slopes in addition to steps in most places. There are of course lifts inside the hotel itself. So, in summary, for those wanting to explore the island and are not looking for the traditional beach holiday, this hotel should fit the bill very nicely. We would stay again without hesitation.

My friend and I visited the hotel at the end of January 2023. We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Lucia who works there! We really enjoyed our stay and she made it so much better by being a lovely host. She was so welcoming as well and a really hard worker!

Excellent value. Surprised it's only 3* rated, possibly cos some of it looks a bit dated, but that's no problem at all. Kind, competent, helpful staff. Delicious hot and cold breakfasts from the extensive buffet. Three swimming pools: one indoor (heated), one outdoor, one on the roof for nudists only. Tennis, mini golf, free shuttle bus down to the biggest supermarket and back.

This hotel is fantastic for a 3star. Manager and all staff are so friendly. We have been here a week and have another to go fortunately. Free bus into town and return if required. If. You stay late in town which we do taxi only 4 Europe’s back to hotel. Eden bar with entertainment every night and a great jovial friendly barman. There is nothing I dislike about this place.

Bathroom disinfected upon arrival. Big room. Shower heads need cleaning. Bad water preassure. Spider webs on ceiling. Functional kitchen but were missing a wine bottle opener and larger knives. Bath towels soft but torn. Building with reception looked renovated inside, other buildings not so much. Noticed a lot of work had gone into fixing the beautiful garden, next step would be fixing the buildings, inside and out. Beds were old and squeaky. Bad air in the rooms, cold if you left the windows open.

I’m a 53 year old man I’ve traveled many different locations and countries, we booked this holiday through Tui on the assumption based on reviews that it was family oriented and English friendly The apartment is fine, the staff don’t understand English and the majority of them are very rude I have many food intolerances, breakfast I can manage to Find something to eat and has a varied choice , when it comes to lunch the options are very limited With only being bed and breakfast guests we have to pay to eat here the rest of the day, when I went to choose there was no option for me and no foods were labelled for allergens , I asked the staff for help and not one of them seemed to understand me, I tried to explain my situation and asked if they could cook me something and i was refused and one of the staff members was rude , I complained to reception and the hotel Tui rep. I explained the problem and the fact there was no labels on the food and miraculously the next day foods were labelled yet half of them were incorrect, there was nothing I could eat apart from salad or fruit. I asked if they cook cook me a steak and again I was flatly refused , I asked reception who then rang down to kitchen and told them to cook me one and again I was refused, back to the reception to complain and she just shrugged….so we had to take a taxi down into town €10 as it was a Sunday, to get something to eat If you are English or have any intolerances/allergies DO NOT visit this hotel, I have been bad with my stomach since I arrived , options are limited ….”cook in your room you have an oven” as advised by the Tui rep or taxis throughout the day up and down to town

We arrived at Eden Park on Tuesday 31 Jan and are here till Feb 10……here’s what I think Firstly I’ve never been to Tenerife before apart from a day stop on a cruise….so I didn’t really know much about the different resorts, I was looking for a holiday for myself, my partner and our 12 year old daughter. After reading the reviews for this resort and hotel I believed I’d found the ideal place, resort perfect for couples and families , and the hotel, although located at the top of a lot of steep hills seemed to have what we were looking for too. There’s a free shuttle bus provided by the hotel which is great but it doesn’t run on fiesta days, Saturday afternoons or Sundays …… Now the rooms are ok, bit dated but very spacious….the hotel is split in two parts and the building we are in….guess what….another hill…not looking forward to pushing my cases back up that on Friday!! At around about 6am the lifts start whirring and you can hear every footstep of people walking around…. The gardens that the hotel is set in are lovely and the view from my balcony is stunning too….there isn’t many places to sunbathe around the hotel either as most of the sun decks have now been replaced with solar panels this week Apart from the receptionist who we met on arrival the rest of the staff have been damn right rude , the hotel and the resort we have found are not very geared toward the English and there is an obvious language barrier This is not a resort for families and Tui need to change their review of the place My partner who had many allergies and that’s why we choose self catering has come across many barriers too…..if we eat out none of the restaurant staff seem to speak English and therefore don’t have a clue what we are wanting even when we have tried to translate….I don’t know if this is truly not understanding or just plain ignorance ….when eating in the hotel nothing was labelled with allergens and again the staff couldn’t answer questions on what the foods contained, ….it wasn’t until I visited the rep with my concern of someone maybe ending up really poorly ….her answer was “you’ve got a kitchen cook in your room” and then that day every food in the restaurant was labelled All in all , the resort itself is pretty and some of the views are stunning and I’m led to believe there’s some lovely walks..and so for a different kind of holiday and maybe just the two of us that would suit But we were looking for somewhere to relax….to enjoy some family time, (not looking for lively either mind)…..this is not the resort for either

What can I say? We're here 'til Tuesday and it can't come soon enough!! No heating...we've been froze in our room since we got here.....am putting the oven on later so I can have a shower and not freeze when I get out. Apparently you can hire a heater...sorry I'm all inclusive so am not paying extra for anything All inclusive......you have to sign a bill every time you have anything outside mealtimes You can only get a coffee at certain times of the day at certain bars.......but if the coffee machine is broken at one bar...tough **** You feel lucky if you get out of the lifts alive!!! The maids start at 8am,chattering away...hoovering the carpets.....me thinks they want you to get up and out!! The whole place is so dated and tired I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone PS...if you're coming here in the summer you'll probably be as hot in your room as we are cold so avoid at all costs.
